Well looks like round two is underway in several European countries as they revert back to shut down measures in their attempts to manage the COVID-19 virus.

Similar to what I see in California and many have reported in New York City, these progressive governments reject herd immunity, have an overdependence on masks, and each city is now monitored, using a color scale, with triggers to draconian measures in case of a “spike” in cases.

As the announcement of steps Europe is considering, the WHO just published their concerns about overreactions this second season.

The World Health Organization has warned leaders against relying on COVID-19 lockdowns to tackle outbreaks — after previously saying countries should be careful how quickly they reopen.

WHO envoy Dr. David Nabarro said such restrictive measures should only be treated as a last resort, the British magazine the Spectator reported in a video interview.

“We in the World Health Organization do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus,” Nabarro said.

Now that the flu season is coming up, a new seasonal round of Covid is also crossing Europe – as France brings in curfews, Spain shuts bars and Portugal declares a “state of calamity”.

Many countries in Europe have announced strict new measures in an attempt to limit the impact of the fresh spike.

The question is, will pursuing the same policies that failed miserably last spring produce a different result? Logically no, now if the numbers were unacceptable then, when repeat them again now.

In addition, tens of thousands of medical experts are disputing the number of CV-19 cases and death numbers, and resulting lockdowns.

Here is what it looks like in a few of them.

FRANCE

France recorded 22,591 new Covid cases on Wednesday – the third time in just six days there were more than 20,000.

The country’s five largest cities are on “maximum alert”, with bars and gyms closed.

A curfew between 9pm and 6am has been introduced for the country’s worst-affected areas, including Grenoble, Lille, Lyon, Aix-Marseille, Saint Etienne and Toulouse.

Those areas will be under curfew for four weeks from Saturday.

People living in areas with a curfew are not allowed to go to restaurants or visit friends.

SPAIN

Spain became the first European country to have more than 900,000 Covid-19 cases on Wednesday.

Spain now has 908,056 Covid cases – the seventh-highest in the world.

In Barcelona and the rest of Catalonia, bars and restaurants have been forced to close for 15 days, and there are limits on the number of people in shops.

ITALY

Infections are rising in Northern Italy, the area where the pandemic first hit Europe.

A record 7,332 cases were reported across Italy yesterday – more than the worst day in March, at the beginning of the pandemic.

Italy’s cases per 100,000 people have doubled in the last two weeks to 87.

Bars and restaurants have a midnight curfew, while casual sports and celebrations inside public venues are banned.

Masks are compulsory both indoors and outdoors.

The Italian government has refused to rule out closing cities, but also wants to avoid another harsh lockdown.

We the American people must not allow our country to follow suite, shutting down again and as a result further destroying people lives and dreams.

Instead take heed to the WHO warnings of the damage of what additional shutdowns would do and fight the leftist in the courts to get them out of the way allowing us to live free, as our Constitution guarantees our nations citizens.
