It amazes me that politicians and local authorities question why citizens don’t trust the “medical experts”. From don’t worry about the virus in China and Europe, it will not be a problem in the USA, come to China town, nothing to worry about to; 2,000,000 American’s might die – shut down the country!
Typically, viruses are defeated through the natural process of Herd Immunity. As a community gets the onset of a virus, the healthy individuals, who might not even know they have it, build up antibodies as they defeat it. When enough people have built up immunity, the virus runs our of potential hosts and dies. Since America went into hiding, we will see a spike in cases, not deaths, as the virus moves from person to person until herd immunity is reached.
Let’s go through the mask fiasco
On Feb. 29, U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams implored Americans to stop buying masks.
“They are NOT effective in preventing the general public from catching (Disease That Must Not Be Named), but if healthcare providers can’t get them to care for sick patients, it puts them and our communities at risk!” Adams wrote on Twitter.
Dr. Fauci, an immunologist, and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who serves on the Task Force said multiple times masks would not make much of a difference.
“There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask when you’re in the middle of an outbreak,” Fauci said. “Wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And often, there are unintended consequences; people keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.”
Back then, Fauci told “60 Minutes” that face masks might make people “feel a little bit better,” but they simply don’t protect people and, instead, bring “unintended consequences.”
“When it comes to preventing (Disease That Must Not Be Named), public health officials have been clear: Healthy people do not need to wear a face mask to protect themselves from (Disease That Must Not Be Named),” CBS News reported March 8. citing Fauci.
Then after the fast spread of the virus, Dr. Fauci was ostracized for misleading the public, leading to deaths. So the task force recommended everyone wears a mask, stay 6 ft apart and avoids crowds. As a result, states like California still have us wearing masks, anytime we get around others.
A new study finds that Dr. Fauci was correct in the first place. Masks don’t do much.
From Fox News
(Disease That Must Not Be Named) can still pass between face mask wearers — even when they’re 4 feet apart: study
(Disease That Must Not Be Named) can be transmitted between people who are standing more than four feet apart, even if they are wearing a mask, a new study has found.
The research, published in Physics of Fluids, notes that face coverings alone do not prevent droplets of fluid that are projected by a cough, a discovery the researchers called “alarming.” It adds to the importance to also maintain proper social distancing measures, they said.
“The use of a mask will not provide complete protection,” study co-author and University of Nicosia professor Dimitris Drikakis said in a statement. “Therefore, social distancing remains essential.”
If a person has a coughing fit, “many droplets penetrate the mask shield, and some saliva droplet disease-carrier particles can travel more than 1.2 meters (4 feet),” Drikakis added.

So masks are unnecessary and don’t do much, everyone put on a mask and stay at least 6 feet apart, now, mask doesn’t really so much unless used in conjunction with “social distancing”. Who are the confusing ones here and how are we supposed to trust them?
