I will take a Big Mac, French Fries, and Large Coke, please. McDonald’s whose thousands of locations worldwide have been a staple in local communities since launching their first store on April 15, 1955, in San Bernardino, CA. Fast affordable food, I never had a negative reaction to their brand, until the documentary, Super Size Me, came out in 2004. They recovered from the negative press by eliminating their Super Sizes.
McDonald’s has decided to jump into the social justice warrior class, by identifying certain ethnic groups they want to promote, excluding their remaining customer base. Promoting transgenderism in their videos and adding BLM messaging on their food packaging is beyond the pale. Calling the death of a thug who grabbed a police officer’s gun, firing off a bullet in his car, punching the officer in the face, running away but turning back and charging the officer, who shot and killed him, as a victim of racism & systemic oppression is absurd.
From Breitbart
McDonald’s has changed its Twitter display name to “Amplifying Black Voices,” adding a profile banner that lists Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Alton Sterling, Botham Jean, Atatiana Jefferson, Ahmaud Arbery, and George Floyd as victims of “racism” and “systemic oppression.”
The brand’s Twitter banner reads:
Trayvon Martin. Michael Brown. Alton Sterling. Botham Jean. Atatiana Jefferson. Ahmaud Arbery. George Floyd.
He was one of us. She was one of us. They were all one of us. We seem them in our customers. We see them in our crew members. We see them in our franchisees. And this is why the entire McDonald’s family grieves. It’s why we stand for them and any other victims of systemic oppression and violence. Today with stand with Black communities across America. Which is why we’re donating to the National Urban League and the NAACP. We do not tolerate inequity, injustice, or racism.

“Black trans women have a very simple message: stop killing us,” the international corporation relayed in a video created by Imara Jones, a fellow of George Soros’s Open Society Foundations.

I understand all businesses wanting to reach out to their local communities, and if possible invest in worthwhile causes. With the current tensions between the urban areas and local police and with Marxist leadership behind BLM, I reject this new McDonald’s who is propagating the false systemic racism narrative and exultation of some people “of color” who died, because of their actions, not because of their skin color.
I for one will not be giving any company, by business, who has become political activists, instead of simply providing a product or service only. No more Big Macs, French Fries, or Coke from McDonald’s for me, I will simply drive another block or two to a restaurant chain down the street, who is not dividing us by race.
