President Trump is donating $100,000 of his presidential salary to repair monuments that were damaged over the months by rioters.
The funds, which equate to a quarter of his annual presidential pay, will be funneled to the U.S. National Park service.
“I promised YOU I would not take a dime of salary as your President. I donate the entire $400,000! It is my honor to give $100,000 to @NatlParkService to help repair and restore our GREAT National Monuments. So important to our American History! Thank You!!”

Here’s where Trump has donated his presidential salary so far, broken up into quarters:
Q1 National Parks Service
Q2 Department of Education
Q3 Health and Human Services
Q4 Department of Transportation
Q1 Department of Veterans Affairs
Q2 Small Business Administration
Q3 National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism
Q4 Department of Homeland Security
Q1 Department of Agriculture
Q2 U.S. Surgeon General’s Office
Q3 Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health
Q4 Department of Health and Human Services
That last donation in 2019 (fiscal year, the calendar year was 2020) to the Department of Health and Human Services was, according to President Trump and White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, specifically intended to advance research in combatting the spread of COVID-19.
President @realDonaldTrump made a commitment to donate his salary while in office. Honoring that promise and to further protect the American people, he is donating his 2019 Q4 salary to @HHSGov to support the efforts being undertaken to confront, contain, and combat #Coronavirus. pic.twitter.com/R6KUQmBRl1

To be fair, he hasn’t donated 100% of his salary, which critics are often quick to note. But, by law, he has to take some of his salary. So, President Trump has kept $1 each year from his presidential salary.
What a miser.
