Warren and Ericka, both with Students for Life of America, were arrested this morning after writing “Black Preborn Lives Matter” on the sidewalk.
Both workers were eventually released and returned to the event.
Warren said that neither he nor Ericka had their Miranda Rights read to them prior to their arrests and they were not told at the time of their arrest what they were being charged with.
Warren then suggested the arrests were politically motivated:
“I firmly believe this is in concert with Planned Parenthood because they received $80 million in paycheck protection, PPE loans, from the government and they continue to be funded by Democrats and Republicans alike.
Warren concluded by addressing President Trump:
“President Trump, this has to stop.”

Sidewalk counseling and “sidewalk chalking” is a common routine with the pro-life advocates and neither of them understands why today of all days they were not allowed to.
One police lieutenant said that they were arrested for “defacing public property” but declined to answer what their actions were or what property they defaced.
Students for Life of America and the Frederick Douglass Foundation received a permit to protest outside the Planned Parenthood facility. The permit included marching in the street and then speaking on the sidewalk.
The protest included marching, speaking about the ethics of abortion, and testimonies about women who have had abortions now advocate against them.
