Alexandra Souverneva, a Ph.D. student in environmental chemistry at SUNY College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry, was found guilty of starting fires that destroyed American homes, leading to demands to investigate leftist politics and Activism.
Key Point: Activism in the United States has turned criminal; the U.S. Government has known about it for decades but allows the crimes to happen- and here is proof.
“Forestry student-turned-shaman, 30, faces nine years in jail for ‘starting California’s Fawn Fire’ that has burned 8,500 acres and destroyed 41 homes: DA suspects she could be ‘serial arsonist.’
- Alexandra Souverneva, 30, of Palo Alto, has been charged with felony arson to wildland and is suspected of starting the Fawn fire – she was seen to be carrying CO2 canisters and a cigarette lighter
- Workers saw her acting strangely and trespassing in Shasta County where the Fawn Fire sparked Wednesday.
- Souverneva was seen walking out of brush, telling firefighters she was dehydrated
- The 30-year-old was arrested Friday and booked into jail after being taken for evaluation and treatment
- Evacuations have been ordered as the Fawn Fire continues to rage, threatening about 2,000 structures
- It has so far scorched more than 13 square miles (34 square kilometers) of heavy timber in rugged terrain
A former forestry student-turned-shaman and yoga teacher has been charged with starting a huge California wildfire that has destroyed 41 homes – and was being investigated in connection with other fires – after claiming the blaze was triggered accidentally while she tried to boil bear urine so she could drink it.
Alexandra Souverneva, of Palo Alto, was charged Friday with felony arson to wildland with an enhancement because of a declared state of emergency in California, Shasta County District Attorney Stephanie Bridgett said. The 8,500 acre blaze the 30 year-old is accused of starting has wrecked 41 homes, and 90 other structures.
Souverneva is the second activist this year who was caught starting wildfires in California to prove their radical environmental agenda for the purpose of their ultimate power grab.
According to a press release by the local law enforcement:
“Cal Fire has conducted a preliminary investigation and already made the determination that the fire was in fact arson,” District Attorney Stephanie Bridgett said in a press conference. “We received the report yesterday and today we announced that we have filed felony arson charges against her, not only for arson but also for committing an arson during a state of emergency. The maximum penalty she currently faces is nine years in prison.”
WE HAVE KNOWN FOR DECADES THAT IT IS CRIMINALS SETTING FIRES- SO WHY THE POWER GRABS?
The left is eager to use the fires to claim more restrictions upon the lives of the American people- but we have known for a long time that the fires are caused by criminals.
Consider a story by NBC News that cites investigations in 1996:
“A radical ecological activist who evaded capture for a decade pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiracy and arson for her role with an extremist ecoterrorism group believed responsible for setting 20 fires that burned $40 million of property across the West from 1996 to 2001.
Rebecca Jeanette Rubin, 40, a Canadian citizen, faces a federal prison term of five to 7½ years when she’s sentenced in January, according to a plea agreement entered in U.S. District Court in Portland, Ore.
As part of the plea deal, Rubin, a former wildlife researcher, agreed to provide information about other members of the ecoterrorism group with which she has been connected. It’s called “the Family,” and according to the FBI, it was an even more extreme faction of two radical environmentalist groups, the Animal Liberation Front and the Earth Liberation Front.
But under the terms of the deal, which has been in negotiations for months, she won’t be compelled to identify others involved in crimes committed by the Family — which federal authorities have branded the most wanted domestic terrorist group in the U.S.
Rubin surrendered last November at the Washington state border after a decade on the lam in Canada. Her attorney said that she tried to give herself up as early as 2009 but that he couldn’t work out an acceptable arrangement with prosecutors.
Rubin was indicted in 2006 with three other Family members in a 1998 fire that caused $12 million at the Vail Mountain Ski Resort in Colorado. Two of the others, Chelsea Gerlach and Stanislas Meyerhoff, were sentenced to nine and 13 years in prison, respectively, in 2007. The third, Josephine Overaker, remains at large and is the subject of a $50,000 reward offered by the FBI.
The Family is accused of setting fires at 20 sites — including ski resorts, wild horse corrals, lumber mills and U.S. Forest Service offices — over five years beginning in 1996 in California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.
WHERE IS THE US GOVERNMENT? WHY DO THEY LET THE LEFT COMMIT THESE CRIMES?
