Bill Cosby is using his platform to launch a counter-attack on the US Media, which he claims has promoted a false story against him drugging women many years ago. On July 4th, this year, Cosby released a statement about his point of view regarding the activities of the media in perpetuating other lies in their reporting about what happened at the US Capitol on January 6th. To the fear of the left, Cosby is signaling that he will make a huge media spectacle out of his new war with the media.
“This mainstream media are the Insurrectionists, who stormed the Capitol. Those same Media Insurrectionists are trying to demolish the Constitution of the United State of America on this Independence Day,” Cosby wrote.

Howard University you must support ones Freedom of Speech (Ms. Rashad), which is taught or suppose to be taught everyday at that renowned law school, which resides on your campus,”
“This mainstream media are the Insurrectionists, who stormed the Capitol. Those same Media Insurrectionists are trying to demolish the Constitution of these United State of America on this Independence Day,” the statement put out by Cosby’s longtime spokesman Andrew Wyatt added. “No technicality — it’s a violation of ones rights & we the people stand in support of Ms. Phylicia Rashad.”
Cosby was reacting to the criticism of Rashad’s post:
“FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!” The post was accompanied by a photo of Cosby holding up his fist.
Rashad was abused by the left for her thoughts and opinion and was threatened that she would be canceled for defending Cosby, setting the tone that Hollywood had their marching orders on the topic.
Rashad’s tweet quickly went viral and, while the mentions were turned off, preventing anyone from replying, it was shared more than 30,000 times. Several hours later, Rashad posted another tweet, writing, “I fully support survivors of sexual assault coming forward. My post was in no way intended to be insensitive to their truth. Personally, I know from friends and family that such abuse has lifelong residual effects. My heartfelt wish is for healing.”

Cosby’s accounted showed a series of tweets from July 1:
“In response to the rhetoric that the media keeps pushing, Bill Cosby never admitted in his deposition testimony, or anywhere else, to non-consensual sexual contact with any woman and/or the drugging of anyone — he has never admitted to spiking drinks, as the media would like you he has never admitted to spiking drinks, as the media would like you to believe. Furthermore, he has steadfastly maintained his innocence before and after being falsely convicted of aggravated indecent assault.
Mainstream media has irresponsibly, egregiously, and inexcusably misled the public with out-of-context coverage regarding Bill Cosby’s deposition testimony. This shall serve as a grave reminder of the consequences that come with lying to the American people to satisfy an agenda.
“The media’s the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that’s power. Because they control the minds of the masses.” ― Malcolm X.”
The New York Post reported on Cosby’s statement and focused on his return to the stage:
Bill Cosby is going from the big house to the big screen.
The disgraced comedian was sprung from State Correctional Institute-Phoenix, in Montgomery County, Penn., on Wednesday after his sexual assault conviction was dismissed because of a prosecutor’s agreement.

Now, Cosby said he is working with Michelle Major on a documentary about his case, reportedly produced by Lionsgate Entertainment. According to the former sitcom star, it’s almost complete, and Cosby only needs to sit for his interview, which should occur in the next few weeks.
Major — a former producer of “Good Morning America” and executive producer of Vice Media’s “Black Lives Matter: A Global Reckoning” — is said to have attended Cosby’s trial.
