Nancy Pelosi, the far-left radical Speaker of the House, received a letter on February 1 along with other US Congressional leaders, written by Steven Sund, the former Police Chief of the Capitol Police Department who denied Pelosi’s claims about January 6th and placed the blame for the massive miscommunication between herself and law enforcement on Government Intel Agencies.
“What occurred on January 6th cannot be considered under any circumstances a protest, a rally, or civil disobedience. This was a well-planned, coordinated, armed insurrection at the United States Capitol. The USCP does not have the manpower, the training, or the capabilities to handle an armed insurrection involving thousands of individuals bent on violence and destruction at all costs,” Sund wrote to US Reps, Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, Kevin McCarthy, Chuck Schumer, and Mitch McConnell.
“I wanted to reach out to you to provide first-hand information regarding the actions that were taken, by myself and the United States Capitol Police (USCP), in preparation for the Joint Session of Congress and the planned demonstrations for that day,” Sund wrote.
“There has been much conflicting information presented by various officials and the media regarding the preparations and actions taken at the Capitol that day, and I would like to set the record straight from my
perspective.,” he wrote.
The letter goes on to detail Sund’s point of view.
In great detail, in his 8-page letter, Sund lays out a timeline, the names of people who worked before the events of Jan6th and Jan. 6th. And an explanation of what he saw.
Sund closes, “..before placing the blame on the USCP and me as the Chief for the breach of the Capitol by an insurrectionist mob, more consideration would have been given to the impact of incomplete information provided by intelligence assessments, the denied National Guard request, and the subsequent delayed approval for National Guard assistance.
“Again, I do not believe that the U.S. Capitol Police failed. Greatly outnumbered and against tremendous odds, they kept the Members safe. I truly regret my early departure from an agency and a mission I so cherished. Working with the women and men of the USCP, sworn and civilian, and serving the congressional community, was the highlight of my 30-year law enforcement career,” Sund wrote.

Even the far-left New York Times had to admit that Sund’s letter is important enough to change the DC’s narrative.
“Breaking News: New documents show how muddled intelligence hampered the Capitol riot response, raising questions about how domestic extremist threats are handled,” The NYT reported.
Have the "sergeants-at-arms" of the House and Senate been removed from their positions? It seems odd that Steven Sund, who asked for assistance twice and was denied was forced to resign while those that denied assistance remain in their positions…

On Tuesday, the Senate will hear about the US House’s case for impeaching President Donald J. Trump, claiming that the violence at the Capito on the 6th of January was solely at the direction of Trump, that his supporters spontaneously burst into a rage and attacked the police, at Trump’s order.
From the former police chief, who resigned right after the events of Jan.6, this letter is credible and detailed testimony that Pelosi is wrong.
