Colin Powell’s death has been confirmed by his family, and they claimed he died of complications from COVID, even after being vaccinated twice. Powell made important notable strides in his military career as the first Black US Secretary of State, however, his service – or disservice- to America is a noteworthy reflection today.
“He was fully vaccinated. We want to thank the medical staff at Walter Reed National Medical Center for their caring treatment,” Powell’s family said.
Colin Powell is a controversial figure since he positioned himself as a Republican military leader and then attacked Republicans to support Democrats and their anti-American agenda behind the scenes. Powell often discredited the Republican platform, nonetheless, he received significant support from Republicans who hoped to see the United States have a successful Black Secretary of State.
That honor was handed to Powell, who served as the First Black Secretary of State as a Republican under former president George W. Bush from 2001 to 2005. Powell hated Republican President Donald J. Trump and often used his platform to speak out against other Republicans in office. Powell discredited supporters of Republican values as well, for most of his career.
While it is a delicate situation, to both respect the sanctity of a person’s life and recall the milestones of his career in service to the freest country on Earth, Powell’s dis-service should be remembered at this time as well, because it is the truth. Powell often talked about who was telling the truth and who wasn’t from his point of view.

THE TRUTH
The truth is that Powell was a controversial political figure as reported n 2018 by Jon Schwart, who wrote for the Intercept:
LIE AFTER LIE: WHAT COLIN POWELL KNEW ABOUT IRAQ 15 YEARS AGO AND WHAT HE TOLD THE U.N.
The evidence is irrefutable: Powell consciously deceived the world in his 2003 presentation making the case for war with Saddam Hussein.
It should be remembered:
“As much criticism as Powell received for this — he’s called it “painful” and something that will “always be a part of my record” — it hasn’t been close to what’s justified. Powell, who was secretary of state under President George W. Bush, was much more than just horribly mistaken: He fabricated “evidence” and ignored repeated warnings that what he was saying was false.
Unfortunately, Congress never investigated Powell’s use of the intelligence he was given, so we don’t know many of the specifics. Even so, what did reach the public record in other ways is extremely damning. While the corporate media has never taken a close look at this record, we can go through Powell’s presentation line by line to demonstrate the chasm between what he knew and what he told the world. As you’ll see, there’s quite a lot to say about it,” Schwartz reported.
According to Statistica: Aprox. 1,000 American troops died in Iran because of Bush and his administration.
The truth is that Powell’s death is going to be as controversial as his service to the United States of America:
Herman Cain dies of COVID complications and he’s an unvaccinated, Trump supporting kook.
Colin Powell dies of COVID complications and he’s a double vaxxed, Never Trump nobleman.
Our media is beyond disgusting and dishonest.

The left has always been very comfortable with his brand of Republicanism, which never represented actual Republicans:
Deeply saddened by the loss of General Colin Powell. He was not only an extraordinary public servant but a man of both great character, wisdom and warmth.

Over the last 5 years, Powell has called President Donald J. Trump a liar, over and over, for media consumption at important times, to discredit him.
Powell campaigned for the most leftist President, the country has ever had. So what were Powells values?
Colin Powell passed away this morning.
And @HouseGOP tweets about inflation, which, on account of a ONCE-IN-A-CENTURY pandemic, is a problem throughout the world.

As President Trump rose as a popular bipartisan president, with Black, White, Asian, and Hispanic Americans, he grew less popular with the people Colin Powell represented, the power-seeking, self-indulgent government employees, who did not care for Trump disturbing their many money-making plots.
Author Keith Boykin posted about Powell’s death:
“Colin Powell has died. Powell was a Black Republican who helped Bush lead the US into the Iraq War but later endorsed Obama in 2008, who opposed the war. He was the first Black Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the first Black Secretary of State.
Colin Powell is at least the second former prominent Black Republican to die from Covid-19. By the end of the Trump administration, Powell said he no longer considered himself a Republican. Former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain also died from coronavirus in July 2020.”

Powell’s legacy will be as a hero to people who don’t like the idea of “government by the people”:
Colin Powell died of Covid. A talented leader who spoke out against Trump. Hopefully some will #GetVaccinated after hearing this tragic news.

Colin Powell stood up against Trump. He was a good SOS and a decent man in my opinion. #ResistanceUnited https://t.co/TpTfcX6734

Colin Powell was Never Trump before Trump emerged- at the very beginning of the GOP's collapse into radicalism. Can't think of anyone who jumped earlier. He made 1 terrible mistake in an honorable & distinguished career. A general & a gentleman.

Quite simply, the left and the government employees believe that self-governance is “radical” because, to be honest, if they believed in the people governing themselves, then government employees would have to compete for real jobs in a marketplace of ideas, and that would be hard work.
Powell will be hero-worshiped by the left and the media, but the truth is that Powell chose to live as a controversial figure, and we don’t all have to pretend like he won’t be remembered as the man who made his choices. He betrayed Americans. He lied to the United Nations, and he publically hated our most popular president- at a time when Americans needed a champion, not a liar.
Condolences to his family, it is hard to lose a loved one.
