During a summer of violent domestic upheaval and a movement by the Democrats to remove police departments from some of the most vulnerable citizens, it is timely to remember what exactly America’s first responders, police and firefighters, do to help protect people.
Local DC news, WJLA reported Thursday:
“When D.C. firefighters responded to the report of a fire in Northeast Thursday evening, a man suspected of setting the fire attacked Fire Engine 8.
As they were trying to put out the fire, which was outside in the 300 block of 18th St. NE, the man became aggressive toward the crew, according to a DC Fire and EMS spokesperson.”
The man who was suspected of setting the fire then attacked the Firefighters who were trying to put the fire out, and smashed a window of the firetruck.
After his arrest, it was discovered that the man had an arrest warrant for the murder of a woman who was killed in July.
Seth Andrews, 33, of no fixed address, was arrested Thursday after being accused of setting a fire and then attacking first responders from Fire Engine 8.
