A man who is sometimes a hero to the left, when he isn’t helping American Deplorables make money and gain independence, is in trouble with the Swampiest Department of Justice in generations.
“The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating SpaceX over whether the company discriminates against non-U.S. citizens in its hiring practices and says Elon Musk’s company is stonewalling a subpoena for information, court documents revealed Thursday,” CNBC News reported on Friday.
The DOJ’s Immigrant and Employee Rights Section received a complaint of employment discrimination from a non-U.S. citizen claiming that the company discriminated against him based on his citizenship status.
“The charge alleges that on or about March 10, 2020, during the Charging Party’s interview for the position of Technology Strategy Associate, SpaceX made inquiries about his citizenship status and ultimately failed to hire him for the position because he is not a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident,” DOJ attorney Lisa Sandoval wrote in a court document filed Thursday.
The document requested a judge to order SpaceX to comply with an administrative subpoena for documents related to how the company hires and is due in two weeks.
Many political watchers believe that the DOJ probe of Musk is really about something else.

Musk has been in rocket making business and is a popular thought leader on innovative transportation and business models. He is the owner and founder of Telsa, an electrical company, which is favored by greenie leftists, so at times Musk is a hero to them, but when he talks about free markets and small business, he loses his footing with them.
For the Government to throw their weight behind persecuting him, after criticizing Democrat Joe Biden is curious because he is a champion to many Americans for different reasons. He is a patriot, creator, inventor, businessman, thought leader, and a wealthy man, and his businesses favor many of their ideas on space travel and green energy.
The following video is a complication of Musk’s ideas on disruptive innovations and the story of how he was impacted in the financial disasters of 2008 when he took his electric car company public. Stock in the company was considered the least likely to succeed. It is really a ‘rags to riches’ story that most Americans love, and it is pro -America. Musk is pro-American. So is that what the DOJ is really going after him for?
“It feels good to have repaid the US Taxpayer, and they made a profit of 20 million dollars on this loan,” Musk said of that time period.

It will be interesting to see how the Department of Justice’s career politicians, who have been successful in overthrowing a US President, will not take down the richest man in the world for towing the company line.
