Vernon Jones is a Republican candidate for Governor of Georgia, and he joined Matthew Thomas, Chief Deputy of Pinal County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, to investigate a Pinal County smuggling corridor where Jones asked the question, “Where is Vice President Harris”?
“We visited a high-traffic smuggling route in Pinal County. The smugglers travel from the border up about 60 miles through the open desert and then encounter civilization in Pinal County (where we were), where they get picked up and transported into the interior of the country.
We met at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Casa Grande, AZ Border Patrol Station. And then we were escorted to the smuggling route about an hour away in Pinal County by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, led by Chief Deputy Matthew Thomas,” Jones’ team said in describing the event.
In attendance were: Vernon Jones, former GA State Representative, and current Gubernatorial Candidate Bernie Kerik, former NYC Police Commissioner, AZ Rep. Mark Finchem.
Until the Biden Administration decides to do their job, as Governor, I’m committed to working with border states to do whatever it takes to secure our border.

In the video below, Jones said:
“I see why there is a crisis at the border, with a sign like this on American soil where we have have literally given up our borders and literally given up to drug cartels we have literally given up on prodiving these local law enforcement officers and the border control the ability to enforce the law. I have been here for the past 24 hours. Where is Vice President Harris? She is supposed to be here in control of this and it has been 73 days and she has yet to hit the border. Here is what bothers me most, we are seeing children’s clothing, we are seeing women’s garments , these border patrols and local law enforcement agencies are telling us how women are being raped here. Children are coming through and, in this type of weather and when they can’t fit the bill, they get left behind. But it has become more of a human trafficking for the cartels.”
Thomas said:
“This is one of our largest smuggling corridors so this is where a lot of bodies come through. We were just talking to one of our BLM (Bureau of Land Management) guys who came through and he said that they had caught more groups coming through last night through this same area, so this is a very active area for us where a lot of the drugs and the humans are smuggled.”
Jones is then seen walking through the area with a delegation of experts who explain the situation to him and what is unfolding in the area when people are coming through, hopeful of taking advantage of Democrat Joe Biden’s generous offers to them, and some end up victims of brutal crimes and even death.
Overheard in the conversation between Jones and the border experts in law enforcement in the area.
Watch:
Jones has made the journey to be at the Southern border with experts to see the human trafficking crisis, which Harris takes very lightly, even joking about this past week on national media.
The news went viral that Harris was laughing and flirty with broadcaster Lester Holt when asked why she had not visited the border herself since that is her job. “I haven’t been to Europe either,” Harris childishly responded.

Vernon Jones is challenging Republican Brian Kemp for the 2022 Georgia Governor election. According to the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office under Brad Raffensperger, confusing dates are listed on their site for the Primary election. When calling to confirm the timing of the Primary election, I was told that as of this time, they “do not know, or have the information on when the primary will actually be held.”
We will continue to investigate the timing of the Primary for Vernon Jones.
