Another tactic in the war against Freedom of Speech and upon American’s Constitutional First Amendment Rights has been discovered in a document that has surfaced, showing Democrats pressuring the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to stop Conservatives from purchasing a radio station in Flordia.
“Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Brendan Carr, is pushing back against calls from Congressional Democrats who want the FCC to reject the sale of the well-known Miami radio station, Caracol 1260 AM,” KUSI.Com reported.
Carr tweeted out his opposition to blocking the sale because it “crosses a clear line drawn by the First Amendment and would turn the FCC into an arm of the DNC.”
Carr posted a rebuke to a post by a Democrat member of the US House, Rep. Darren Soto, who identifies himself on Twitter as: “Proudly representing #FL09: Osceola County, parts of Orange & Polk Counties. Chair of@FFCongress Member of @EnergyCommerce@NRDems@HispanicCaucus” posted:
“Enough is enough. We can no longer allow conservative media to lead Spanish-language misinformation campaigns on Florida’s Latino communities. It’s time for the FCC to intervene. This dangerous rhetoric can’t go unchecked,” Soto posted.
Carr alerted the public by exposing the corrupt actions of Soto:
Democrats in Congress are pressuring the FCC to block the sale of a radio station based on the political viewpoints it would broadcast to South Florida’s Hispanic community.

WHAT IS CAUSING THIS REBUKE FROM THE FCC? IT STARTS WITH AN ARTICLE IN NEWSWEEK
From the Newsweek article cited by Soto, where he is quoted:
“Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) mobilized Wednesday to pressure the Federal Communications Commission to further scrutinize and reject the sale of the well-known Miami radio station Caracol 1260 AM to America CV, which owns the América TeVé network.
The congressmen’s decision comes on the heels of a Newsweek report that detailed how America CV immediately fired the station’s top-rated host, Raul Martinez, a Democrat and former mayor of Hialeah. The swift termination was viewed as a political decision and led Florida Democrats to sound the alarm of a conservative media takeover on the Spanish-language airwaves. Florida Representative Darren Soto told Newsweek that “enough is enough.”
So, the station decided on an employee matter, and a federal congressman made it a federal issue by involving a Federal Institution and demanding an investigation and federal intervention.
How far will the Democrats go to stifle the free speech of Americans and the rights of businesses to conduct their business? Do the Democrats believe that they own the Hispanic vote, perhaps?
The radio station has a large Hispanic following in South Florida, and Democrats believe they will lose in 2022 if that audience does not support them. Soto tweeted, “we can no longer allow conservative media to lead Spanish-language misinformation campaigns on Florida’s Latino communities.”
America CV, which owns the América TeVé network, purchased the Miami radio station.
Democrat’s claim the new owners will distribute “misinformation,” but Commissioner Carr said, “the FCC has no business doing the Democrats’ bidding or using our regulatory process to censor political opinions that Democrats do not like.”
Apparently, to Soto, distributing information that the people want to hear is wrong if it goes against Democrats. There is simply no other way to interpret his actions.
