Jimmy Kimmell, a far-left, feminist, progressive TV talk show host, posted the embarrassing response from the Academy of Motion Pictures to a scathing rebuke by President Donald J. Trump over their humiliating ratings for their landmark production.
“What used to be called The Academy Awards, and now is called the “Oscars”—a far less important and elegant name—had the lowest Television Ratings in recorded history, even much lower than last year, which set another record low,” wrote Trump.
“If they keep with the current ridiculous formula, it will only get worse—if that’s possible. Go back 15 years, look at the formula they then used, change the name back to THE ACADEMY AWARDS, don’t be so politically correct and boring, and do it right. ALSO, BRING BACK A GREAT HOST. These television people spend all their time thinking about how to promote the Democrat Party, which is destroying our Country, and cancel Conservatives and Republicans. That formula certainly hasn’t worked very well for The Academy!” Trump’s statement read.
Trump released a statement about the dismal ratings of the once culturally important Academy Awards, which has turned into a humiliating, rarely viewed, far-left political spectacle. The Academy of Motions Arts and Sciences, who oversee the process and programing where celebrities award Golden colored trophies to each other, released an immature and embarrassing statement back.
Kimmel, a source of news for the left, often pretends to be a comedy show or a talk show on political and news matters. Notice this post:

In Kimmel’s post, the Academy pouted about their poor rates and blamed it all on Trump. That seems fitting.
Hollywood has had very hurt feelings over Trump for years. I covered a little of that here:
Far left-leaning Golderby.com posted about Kimmel’s attention to Trump’s recent letter to the academy:
“Former President Donald Trump put out one of his little press releases on Tuesday. He did his annual thing where he gloated about the Academy Awards’ declining TV ratings and criticized the ceremony for being too “politically correct.” One night after saying a similar thing (in a joking manner), Jimmy Kimmel read Trump’s abstractly punctuated statement on his show.”
“And then that’s the end,” Kimmel quipped. “Then he passed out in his oatmeal.”
“But this is what happens when you’re banned from social media,” Kimmel added. “Instead of tweeting like everybody else, you have to fax a statement two days after everyone forgot the Oscars happened.”
The ceremony drew 10.4 million viewers, a record low, according to final Nielsen numbers released on Tuesday.
Talk hosts and commentators on the right seized on the low viewership to claim that it was due to political statements and speeches made during the telecast, something that even Regina King acknowledged at the outset could be a turnoff. But there’s also a strong case to be made that the viewership numbers reflect the popularity of the nominees. With moviegoing curbed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many had yet to see or even hear many of the contenders, even when they were available on streaming platforms.
The political statements that were made during the Oscars did not focus on Trump but topics like gun violence and policing.
So Kimmel using his feminist tactics, tried to mock and humiliate Trump because other progressive feminists in social media censored Trump from social media.
Kimmel also appreciated the highly immature response from the academy, or from what he claimed was from the academy. Notice that the statement is fake. To validate the statement by the Academy, it was discovered that Kimmel was pushing fake news.
