Based on tax returns reports have exposed a very wealthy foreign donor, Hansjörg Wyss, who funds powerful Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) which Democrats rely upon to weaponize their activists and their political messaging.
“Beneficiaries of his organizations’ direct giving included prominent groups such as the Center for American Progress and Priorities USA, as well as organizations that ran voter registration and mobilization campaigns to increase Democratic turnout, built media outlets accused of slanting the news to favor Democrats and sought to block Mr. Trump’s nominees, prove he colluded with Russia and push for his impeachment, “The New York Times reported.
IN OTHER WORDS, WYSS FUNDED GRASSROOTS MARKETING PLATFORMS FOR THE LEFT
Grassroots marketing platforms are powerful for legislative action, influencing lawmakers, and shaping public opinion thru data drive research, media polls, and aggressive strategy in messaging, branding, and Public relations.
Tom Daschle and John Podesta head up on of Wyss’ groups, The Center for American Progress (CAP), which according to its website,” is a public policy research and advocacy organization which presents a liberal viewpoint on economic and social issues. It has its headquarters in Washington, D.C.”
Priorities USA, another of Wyss’ groups is affiliated with the Democrat Party, is a voter-centric progressive advocacy organization and service center for the grassroots progressive movement. Priorities USA Action is a liberal political action committee and is the largest Democratic Party super PAC. Founded in 2011, it supported Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.
Those are just two examples of the powerful groups Wyss funds.
THAT SOUNDS LIKE FOREIGN INFLUENCE ON ELECTIONS-RIGHT?
If you remember that two of the left’s favorite tactics are 1) gaslighting and 2) projection. In other words, they accuse you of what they are doing, and they repeat lies until people accept it as the truth.
I write about grassroots platforms often, like what former President and long-time Community Organizer, Barack Obama, used to propel himself to power. The evidence of how the left does have been right under the nose of the Republicans, the left does not really try to hide their strategy to dominate the United States.
In their article Swiss Billionaire Quietly Becomes Influential Force Among Democrats, The New York Times reported:
“Hansjörg Wyss, who recently dropped his bid to buy Tribune Publishing, has been a leading source of difficult-to-trace money to groups associated with Democrats.
He is not as well known as wealthy liberal patrons like George Soros or Tom Steyer. His political activism is channeled through a daisy chain of opaque organizations that mask the ultimate recipients of his money. But the Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss has quietly become one of the most important donors to left-leaning advocacy groups and an increasingly influential force among Democrats.
Newly obtained tax filings show that two of Mr. Wyss’s organizations, a foundation, and a nonprofit fund, donated $208 million from 2016 through early last year to three other nonprofit funds that doled out money to a wide array of groups that backed progressive causes and helped Democrats in their efforts to win the White House and control of Congress last year.
Mr. Wyss’s representatives say his organizations’ money is not being spent on political campaigning. But documents and interviews show that the entities have come to play a prominent role in financing the political infrastructure that supports Democrats and their issues.
While most of his operation’s recent politically oriented giving was channeled through the three nonprofit funds, Mr. Wyss’s organizations also directly donated tens of millions of dollars since 2016 to groups that opposed former President Donald J. Trump and promoted Democrats and their causes.”
OPINION OF A FORMER RAINBOW PUSH- COMMUNITY ORGANIZER-ME
Consider what “daisy chain of opaque organizations” means to the average Republican voter who is busy working or the many Americans who have been ignoring civics, politics, and voting. It means that many grassroots activists are making a living working for shady organizations that are influencing America’s lawmakers while they have been absent.
President Donald J. Trump, because of his appeal to the working class, continues to grow a powerful populist movement, however lacking in the public sphere is the education those Americans need on who the left is, what their agenda is, where they get their funding, and who they aligned with.
A focused Populist- activist movement is brewing, which is the right solution to save America. However, those activists need sound direction and mentorship to push back against what the left has built over decades.
It is important to understand that legislators are accustomed to working with very well-funded and polished activist groups who know how to influence policy and shape opinion. They do it delicately when needed; they do it with bombastic measures when needed.
Let’s hope that our side can find an American “rich uncle” who will take this new activist movement seriously.
It is doubtful that the Democrats, who basically own American institutions at this point, will ever face any consequences for bringing foreign-funded influence into our Republic and bypassing the American voter.
But if we can learn about the left, we will learn to expect the left. And if we can learn to expect the left, we can anticipate the left’s moves. And if we can anticipate the left’s moves, we can win. It all begins with a sober assessment of why we have lost. We have lost because of people with money buying Americans off, who are working for a foreign purpose.
Look for someone to arise who can centralize a movement against those foreign infiltrations of our Republic. I know I will be.
