Republican Mitch McConnell is one of those Republican insiders in DC who will do anything to help promote the left’s radical ideology while stabbing a populist idea in the head, denying the American people any real progress toward a more unified environment of fair and equal policies.
McConnell, who has been in leadership for as long as the American people have been miserable about the out of control government, has now taken a stab at Republican US Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene, a popular target for the further left dust bins in the country’s capital.
Greene has become the obsession of DC with their claims that she read Qanon posts, and they must therefore overthrow the US Republic and the US Constitution and overthrow her, and McConnell is leading the witch hunt.
DC Insider reported, “Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene fired back at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell after he stated her embrace of “loony lies and conspiracy theories” is a “cancer for the Republican Party.”
Greene (R-GA) has faced a growing number of critics from within the Republican Party over controversial words and actions before becoming a congresswoman.
CNN reported that in 2019 Greene “liked” controversial comments on social media, including one that said “a bullet to the head would be quicker” in a discussion to remove House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)”
McConnell acts as if he isn’t aware of the 74 Million Americans who support President Donald J. Trump and doesn’t know anything at all about their concerns, their needs, their frustrations.
McConnell is a long-time DC insider, a glorified welfare recipient, whose entire family is funded by the US Taxpayer, and whatever side hustle he and his wife can get for selling power is how they make their living.
He is now getting paid to take a duly elected US Representative out, as a member of an elite clique in DC who does not like the “kooks” of America.
First, they called us Deplorables; now, we are insurrectionists and kooks. The message can not be clearer that the DC elite does not want the little people in power halls.
“Loony lies and conspiracy theories are cancer for the Republican Party and our country,” McConnell (R-KY) said in a statement.
“Somebody who’s suggested that perhaps no airplane hit the Pentagon on 9/11, that horrifying school shootings were pre-staged, and that the Clintons crashed JFK Jr.’s airplane is not living in reality,” he added.
It doesn’t matter if any of those things are true or not; the fact that McConnell is leading the charge to call a US Woman, a Conservative and duly elected US Representative of his own party a “Cancer” should outrage people.
Marjorie Taylor Greene fired back at Mitch McConnell over the comments, suggesting he and other feckless leaders in the GOP are the real “cancer.”
“The real cancer for the Republican Party is weak Republicans who only know how to lose gracefully,” she tweeted. “This is why we are losing our country.”
The Epoch Times reported on Sunday that Greene is getting great support from President Donald J. Trump.
“Rep. Marjorie Greene (R-Ga.) said on Saturday that she had received a call from former President Donald Trump during which he expressed his support.
“I had a GREAT call with my all-time favorite POTUS, President Trump!” she wrote in a string of Twitter posts. “I’m so grateful for his support, and more importantly, the people of this country are absolutely 100% loyal to him because he is 100% loyal to the people and America First.”
She didn’t elaborate on the details of the call.
Trump’s office did not respond to a request for comment from The Epoch Times.
Democrats have hyped up attacks against Greene, a staunch supporter of Trump’s policies as president, after filing articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden on his presidency’s first full day.
She vowed that she would not back down.”
