Moderate John Upton Admits J6 Hearing Is A Smear Job On Trump

Democrats can not beat Trump in any honest competition- so they have to cheat- poor dears.

One of the disgraced 10 Republicans- who was forced to give up a seat in the US House in favor of impeaching President Donald J. Trump – a RINO from Michigan admits Jan. 6th hearing is for the purpose to get Moderates and Independents to hate Trump.

John Upton is so pro-Democrat that he also appeared on far – David Alexrod’s program recently:

“After more than three decades representing his Michigan hometown in Congress, Rep. Fred Upton announced his retirement in a speech on the House floor in April 2022. He joined David to talk about his famous Michigan family, his focus on bipartisanship, why he supports gun safety legislation, voting to impeach Donald Trump following the January 6 attack on the Capitol, and his decision not to run for reelection in 2022.”

His focus on bipartisanship was to appease the radicals and gaslight people that it was moderate.

Fred Upton who calls himself a Republican, allows himself to be humiliated on CNN while he admits that Trump is still popular with the people.  Upton cries about redistricting in his area as a reason why he isn’t running again -to ‘save face’.  Not that he is hugely unpopular for being too far left, or that he doesn’t seem to understand the voters.

RINOS are just elites. There is no way to get around it.

Listen to this crazy interview where Upton allows the show host to talk about ‘Democracy’, when we are a Republic.  What a boring and uninspiring person Upton is- but try to listen as he goes on to defend a gun grab by the left and then decries that the Republican Party doesn’t like the moderates.

It is a bit crazy that the RINO – left insists that they are popular- when in fact there is nothing to prove that is true.

Host Dana Bash asked whether it’s possible Congress would strike a deal on gun control before the impending recess.

“I want to turn to guns. A bipartisan group in the Senate is trying to lock down a compromise deal, but funding for state red flag laws and eliminating the so-called ‘boyfriend loophole’ do remain sticking points for Republicans. Congress leaves for recess in a week. Do you think a deal is still gettable?” Bash asked.

Upton said he thinks a deal is still possible before recess, but the two “sticking points” are “common sense.”

“Law abiding folks shouldn’t have any fears in terms of what’s going on. It’s been a rallying point, particularly for the NRA and Gun Owners of America. You look at their website and they’re raising cash like you wouldn’t believe in terms of, ‘their Second Amendment rights are being taken away.’”

That’s not what’s happening here. This is common sense stuff. But it’s been elevated, for sure, particularly when you have some pretty well-respected Republicans, whether it be John Cornyn or Dan Crenshaw literally being accosted at their state conventions in Texas this weekend.”

In the Supreme Court case of Canglia v. Strom, the high court ruled seizing a citizen’s gun violates search and seizure rights protected under the Fourth Amendment.

Cornyn and several other Republicans have voiced support for the red flag laws, stoking a wave of criticism.
