In a massive powerplay to empower the far-left radical Speaker of the House, Rep. Nancy Pelosi of California, there is an attempt to defang the US Government’s executive branch by removing war powers. It just might work because the sitting “President” Democrat Joe Biden appears to be too feeble to hold the office and make rational decisions.
“The only way Pelosi becomes a factor is if out of the blue, she decides to limit Biden’s war powers and return them to Congress,” one political watcher posted on Twitter.
The Democrats don’t trust their own candidate, and if they are going to grab those powers, under Biden will be the perfect time for them while Capitol Hill is in chaos.
Last week Biden sent a letter to Pelosi that he was attacking Iran backed militant groups to protect America:

This has been an ongoing issue for Pelosi that she wants to control what happens in Iran over numerous administrations.
Some people were suspicious about the nature and motivation of the bombing:
Biden is not competent enough to have made the decision.
Who ordered the strike? Harris? Pelosi? Iran? https://t.co/tzwrGW8gcH

“On Wednesday, a bipartisan group of U.S. Senators introduced legislation that would strip President Joe Biden of war powers. If passed, the bill would repealing the 1991 authorizations for the use of military force in Iraq and the 2002 AUMF passed in the wake of 9/11,” The Political Insider reported.
Politico reported on the Bill:
“Sens. Tim Kaine and Todd Young on Wednesday introduced bipartisan legislation that would repeal decades-old authorizations for the use of military force in the Middle East amid escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran in the region.
Kaine (D-Va.) and Young (R-Ind.) unveiled the measure as lawmakers have expressed frustration with President Joe Biden’s decision to launch airstrikes in Syria last week without first seeking congressional approval. It also comes just hours after an Iraqi military base housing U.S. troops and civilian contractors was hit by rocket attacks.”
Pelosi had attempted to do the same thing during President Donald J. Trump’s administration, so clearly, she really, really wants this power for herself.
FLASHBACK TO 2020:
“The House adopted a war powers resolution Thursday with the aim of limiting President Donald Trump’s military actions against Iran.
The adoption of the measure on a largely party-line vote of 224-194 came amid heightened tension between the two countries after the United States killed Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani and Iran retaliated with a ballistic missile attack against Iraqi air bases housing U.S. forces.
Republicans Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Matt Gaetz and Francis Rooney, both of Florida, voted for the measure, while eight Democrats voted against it: Joe Cunningham of South Carolina, Josh Gottheimer of New Jersey, Kendra Horn of Oklahoma, Elaine Luria of Virginia, Ben McAdams of Utah, Stephanie Murphy of Florida and Anthony Brindisi and Max Rose, both of New York.
Before the vote, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., criticized the U.S. drone attack on Soleimani, saying the resolution would send a clear statement that Trump shouldn’t take further military action against Iran without approval from Congress.

“Last week, in our view, the administration conducted a provocative disproportionate airstrike against Iran which endangered Americans, and did so without consulting Congress,” Pelosi said at her weekly news conference,” reported NBC News.
