Now that Democrat Joe Biden is in charge of the country and the COVID plan, it is logical to think he may have been lobbied by an influential activist group that was reinforced by Anthony Fauci to get Biden to use his government authority to force Florida’s Republican Governor to comply with cowering in fear and shutting businesses down.
Fauci little COVID-19 team is trying to shut down bars, gyms and restaurants in Florida. There are a couple of hot spots in Florida but I live in a rural area. No need to shutdown entire State. This is going to get ugly.

Some people are concerned about what Fauci’s influence will be, under the guise of Emergency COVID powers, upon states like Florida where lawmakers have taken a different approach to prevention than Fauci recommended.
Conservative-Populist Governor Ron DeSantis insisted under Trump and still insists that lockdowns, like the Democrats demand, do not work, and he has made a fool out of the people who demand he follows their plan.
Remember, there have been no laws passed about how lawmakers are grabbing up these superpowers over social distance, face masks, and forcing businesses closed. Fauci is not an elected leader, although he is the highest-paid politician in Washington DC.
On Sunday, DeSantis spoke of the condition of Florida and reasserted that his measures were working.

Because of its openness, Florida has been and will the home of large gatherings or happy and wealthy tourists. Huge events will draw people into the state, including the upcoming Superbowl and CPAC, the Conservative gathering. That is a lot of hungry and thirsty people.
FAUCI HAS FLORIDA IN HIS SITES FOR LOCKDOWN
Fauci indeed does have a plan to reach into Florida and restrict the people there with social distancing measures. Reuters reported on Friday:
“Mask-wearing and social distancing will be paramount at next month’s Super Bowl, top U.S. infectious disease specialist Anthony Fauci said on Friday ahead of the National Football League’s (NFL) championship game in Tampa, Florida,” they reported.
So it makes sense to go back to Fauci’s documented task force recommendations for Florida.
“The document will provide a new basis for the singling out of Florida, which under the leadership of Governor DeSantis has shown that the disease can be managed without destroying lives and jobs and imposing police state conditions; something that has made the media very, very angry,” an independent media outlet, Trending Politics, reported.
What political watchers are concerned about is that Fauci has a behavior pattern of making demands on small businesses. Now that Biden is in charge, he may make some headway to force DeSantis to adopt harmful practices that Trump did not force.
Let’s take a look at that report. Tending Politics reminded us last week, writing about it:
“According to a report issued mere days before Biden’s inauguration, the task force called for the Sunshine State to close down bars, restaurants, and fitness facilities that didn’t order customers to wear the face diapers 100% of the time.
The report, which was not publicly released and was leaked to the far-left pressure group the Center For Public Integrity, identified 18 “red zone” states, including Florida and Texas, along with several others with Republican governors.
Fox News reported on the report in July:
An unpublicized White House document from the coronavirus task force lists Florida among 18 "red zone" states for virus cases, and says the affected states should mandate masks and close gyms and bars. https://t.co/lB7F4CKxLu

According to the July report:
According to the Center for Public Integrity, the document indicates the 18 “red zone” states “had more than 100 new cases per 100,000 population last week. Eleven states are in the ‘red zone’ for test positivity, meaning more than 10 percent of diagnostic test results came back positive.”
The document gives specific guidance on dealing with the crisis in each state, which includes:
- closing all bars, clubs, and gyms in hot spot counties
- mandate public use of masks in all current and evolving hot spots
- encourage individuals that have participated in large social gatherings to get tested
- increase messaging of risk of serious disease in all age groups, especially those with preexisting medical conditions
- continue to ramp up weekly testing
- enhance contact tracing
So now we need to watch how Fauci handles the weeks before the Superbowl and CPAC and see if he will allow Americans to dine out or enjoy sports and leisure activities again.
We will see you at CPAC and if we are hungry there, we will know who to blame.
