This is big, President Donald J. Trump has hit an all-time high according to Rasmussen Reports, who uses different polling techniques than the majority of the Main Stream media.
“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 53% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-six percent (46%) disapprove. The last time the president’s job approval reached a high of this number was in September 2019.
The latest figures include 44% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 40% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of +4″
Other pollsters have given up reporting on Trump’s favorably according to their site,”Now that Gallup has quit the field, Rasmussen Reports is the only nationally recognized public opinion firm that still tracks President Trump’s job approval ratings on a daily basis.“
Scott Rasmussen has been the target of many attacks from the left-leaning media over his highly successful techniques after he predicted the final results in the 2016 race for President between Donald J. Trump and Hillary Clinton.
Friday Rasmussen posted his findings that President Donald Trump reached a new high and that it was in fact 6 points higher than Former President Barack Obama, who is the standard barer for popularity for the left.
The Washington Examiner wrote,”The last time Trump was at 53% in @Rasmussen_Poll was when Nancy Pelosi announced that the House would begin impeachment proceedings.”
Rasmussen has differentiated himself from the leading Mainstream Media posters by refusing to use the same models they use, polling different groups than they do, and weighing the importance of different demographics of likely voters, causing him to be targeted for harassment by activists, Democrats and the media who do not appreciate his transpareny.
“Some readers wonder how we come up with our job approval ratings for the president since they often don’t show as dramatic a change as some other pollsters do. It depends on how you ask the question and whom you ask,” Rasmussen reported.
To get a sense of longer-term job approval trends for the president, Rasmussen Reports compiles our tracking data on a full month-by-month basis.
“Rasmussen Reports has been a pioneer in the use of automated telephone polling techniques, but many other firms still utilize their own operator-assisted technology (see methodology).
Daily tracking results are collected via telephone surveys of 500 likely voters per night and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. To reach those who have abandoned traditional landline telephones, Rasmussen Reports uses an online survey tool to interview randomly selected participants from a demographically diverse panel. The margin of sampling error for the full sample of 1,500 Likely Voters is +/- 2.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
