The news of this major speech comes one day after a Chinese spy ring was discovered in Houston and shutdown abruptly, causing national news of a fire at the Consulate.

According to his spokesman, Pompeo will deliver remarks before the speech that China stole at least $1 billion of research from the United States.
This week, Pompeo has traveled to meet with allies:
The Sun reported he delivered bold statements against the Chinese, during his visit Wednesday, reporting, Pompeo said:
“CHINA has become an ‘evil’ empire that harvests Britons’ data through its apps such as TikTok, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has warned.
Donald Trump’s right-hand man said anything posted on sites such as the video-sharing platform, run by Beijing-based firm ByteDance, will end up in the hands of the Chinese Communist Party”.
