4,000 school employees and leaders of a left-leaning teacher’s union have pledged their allegiance to Critical Race Theory, just as the county is in turmoil over it and parents of school-aged kids are at their wit’s end.
Critical Race Theory is a hot-button topic for many Americans right now, with groups of people pressuring school boards and lawmakers to stop the earmarks of the divisive leftist revisionist History and Civics curriculum and all of the shift in ideology CRT represents.
Reporter Luke Rosiak reported for Dailywire, exposing the determination of some American civil servants to override the public’s concerns and push CRT no matter what lawmakers or citizens say.
This proves that some employees of public schools see themselves as activists instead of teachers.
“CRT is not being taught in schools” but wait… thousands of teachers vow to keep doing it even if it means breaking the law. Here are the 4,000 teachers, listed by town and name, who pledge to violate any law that prohibits teaching divisive concepts:
The list includes teachers from conservative states such as Indiana, Kentucky, Oklahoma, and Idaho, as well as places like Sea Girt, New Jersey, a 97%-white beachfront town with an all-Republican government and a median home price of more than $1 million.

“Thousands of teachers have pledged to continue teaching based on critical race theory even if state laws ban it — contradicting those who claim nothing like that has ever been taught in schools.
The Zinn Education Project, named after the anti-American and factually challenged historian Howard Zinn, has collected signatures from more than 4,200 teachers who “Pledge to Teach the Truth: Despite New State Bills Against It.”Rosiak posted.
In North Carolina, where activists and lawmakers are working tirelessly to protect the public from CRT and the damaging effects, 65 school employees have pledged to ignore the law and push ahead. This is the same place where I uncovered school board members who were going behind parent’s back to push a transgender agenda.
Recall that North Carolina is experiencing an erosion in public confidence with the public schools, where they are rapidly losing students to charter schools and to homeschooling.
Kids Need Socialization: Parents in North Carolina Choose Homeschooling Over Empty Public Schools
I reported on the increase in Homeschooling as a general movement:
The COVID Pandemic has changed the way Americans view Public Education, and after a year of forced school at home, parents have decided to keep their kids at home and homeschool.
“It’s no surprise the number of homeschool families swelled during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the U.S. Census Bureau has released new data showing just how significant that growth has been.
Nationwide, the number of homeschoolers doubled in 2020. Between April 25 and May 5, 2020, the Census reported 5.4% of all U.S. households with school-age children were homeschooling. That leapt to 11.1% of households by fall. In North Carolina, the increase was from 5% to 9.4%,” The Carolina Journal reported.
Differences by Race and Hispanic Origin
Homeschooling rates are increasing across race groups and ethnicities.
In households where respondents identified as Black or African American, the proportion of homeschooling increased by five times, from 3.3% (April 23-May 5) to 16.1% in the fall (Sept. 30-Oct. 12). The size of the increases for the other Race/Hispanic origin groups was not statistically different from one another.
“It’s clear that in an unprecedented environment, families are seeking solutions that will reliably meet their health and safety needs, their child care needs and the learning and socio-emotional needs of their children,” wrote Census researcher Casey Eggleston and Jason Fields.
Homeschooling is a legal instructional option in all 50 states, and national homeschooling rates grew rapidly from 1999 to 2012 but had since remained steady at around 3.3%.
However, the global COVID-19 pandemic has sparked new interest in homeschooling, and the appeal of alternative school arrangements has suddenly exploded.
