Mother Jones wrote a scathing article about the source of information that bursts their political fantasies about the Joe Biden campaign. Instead of self-evaluating their love affair, they attack the messengers; Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani.
Neither Giuliani nor Bannon needs me to defend their honor; however, I want to take this opportunity to bring to light a bone of contention with the American media; they ignore authentic sources of information to get clicks and create drama.
Look at what emotional garbage they write, in The crazy last days of Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon , that is their “smart and fearless journalism”:
“Rudy Giuliani, Steve Bannon, and the entire Trumpland dirty-tricks squad seem desperate. With days remaining until Election Day, they are running out of time to orchestrate an October surprise to help their dear leader win reelection. In recent days, their Fox-enabled efforts have demonstrated how far they are willing to go with their skullduggery. Yet the world may be witnessing the death throes of Trump’s most extreme enablers, protectors, and schemers—and it is ugly.“
Who is educated by that? Who is a better citizen because of that?
Let’s examine for a moment who these two men are and what experience they bring to people. The disagreement that Mother Jones seems to have is that Bannon and Giuliani are acting to protect America and Americans and ignore politicians’ financial desires and those who may need to be evaluated as foreign agents.
These two men have extensive service to America, yet no one who has access to them asks them why they are invested now in uprooting corruption in DC.
That is nuts. They both are first-hand sources. Mother Jones wants us to feel crazy that we see that. Bannon and Giulani know the history; they both are brilliant fighters for America.
Consider what NBC puts out as noise, as chaff, as propaganda, hoping you will be afraid to look up Bannon’s and Giuliani’s past and see what they have done.
Look up Bannon, and wonder if his experience might help guide us now.
From a Breitbart article about the Iran Hostage Crisis which he was an eyewitness to:
“As Bannon has told it, the failed hostage rescue is one of the defining moments of his life, providing a searing example of failed military and presidential leadership — one that he carries with him as he serves as President Trump’s chief strategist. He has said he wasn’t interested in politics until he concluded that then-President Jimmy Carter had undercut the Navy and blown the rescue mission.
Still, the experience shaped his thinking. He saw the military buildup under President Ronald Reagan, and the hostage-taking in Tehran continues to inform his view about that region of the world, as well as the role of U.S. military power and its commander in chief.
Some of Bannon’s shipmates recalled that the crew was given a ribbon for its modest role [in the rescue mission]. But Bannon and many other crew members were livid at Carter for the botched rescue.
“It shattered his confidence in President Carter,” Masso said. “It made him all the more in the tank for Reagan.”
NBC writes, “Some of the same people who pushed a false conspiracy theory about Hillary Clinton that first emerged in 2016 are now targeting Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, with similar falsehoods. Their online posts are garnering, astronomical numbers of shares on social media.
The fantastical rumors, which NBC News is declining to repeat verbatim, echo specific plot points central to “pizza gate,” a viral disinformation campaign that predates QAnon but also falsely alleges a vast conspiracy of child abuse.”
Like the Chinese Communist Party’s tactic of humiliation, that should persuade you from asking what they are talking about.
But it doesn’t stop me.
“Pizzagate” is nonsense, the source of those stories is questionable to me, perhaps made up to make us look “crazy”; however, “The Pizza Connection” is a real case.
Are the left afraid we will look up the treasure trove of a case from the 1980s involving Rudy Giuliani, called by the media then, “The Pizza Connection”?
Look it up.
“The case, dubbed “The Pizza Connection” by the news media because of the frequent use of pizza parlors as fronts for drug sales, was enormously complex and laborious. Undercover FBI agent Joe Pistone, who had infiltrated the Bonanno crime family in 1976, delivered crucial intelligence that helped set the case in motion.
Over time, the investigation snowballed into a massive multi-agency and multi-national effort, with key contributions coming from the New York Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), U.S. Customs, and international authorities (including FBI international legal attaché offices) in Italy, Sicily, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, and Mexico.
Over more than four years, the FBI and its partners gathered a mountain of records and evidence and utilized an array of investigative capabilities. They conducted surveillance on multiple players on multiple continents, sometimes around the clock. They traced and analyzed thousands of telephone calls, often from remote payphones. Since the conspirators mostly spoke Sicilian and used coded phrases to conceal their true activities, turning their many covert conversations into plain English was especially challenging, requiring a team of expert translators from the FBI and elsewhere.
In the end, the painstaking efforts paid off. All but one of the final 19 defendants were convicted, with Gaetano Badalamenti and Catalano receiving hefty prison sentences.”
These two men are American heroes, and we are lucky they are easy to find and approachable, they are still out there serving, yet the American media has no questions for either of them?
That should scare Americans over what has become of the American press media. I can think of few better examples than Mother Jones and their nonsense article meant to shame Americans from asking questions about important issues.
Shame on you Mother Jones for bringing in “crazy”. We are not crazy. You are.
