The battle between the Maricopa Board of Commissioners over the forensic audit of the 2020 Presidential election and at least one Arizona State Senator is reaching an epic level of intensity. It is being played out in the media, as the supervisors thumb their nose at the law and the authority of the state Senate.
“I would like to know if we have enough solitary confinement cells in Arizona available for the entire Maricopa Board of Supervisors and the execs at the fraud machine company. We are going to need a lot,” Rogers posted immediately after reading Seller’s response to an official inquiry,” Senator Wendy Rogers wrote last week. Now she has doubled down.
Key Point: The Board of Commissioners is refusing a lawfully demanded audit of the 2020 Presidential election, which no American citizen has the power to do.
Media reports on Friday described the newest dust-up between the players:
Maricopa County Supervisor Gates Complains That He Has Been Threatened, Got Prison Jumpsuit In Mail
A Republican Maricopa County Board Of Supervisors official, Bill Gates, Just got a message he did not like.
Gates appeared on CNN with Kate Bolduan on Friday and explained that he received an orange prison jumpsuit in the mail.
He complained that the “threats” are enabled by people like Republican State Sen. Wendy Rogers, who warned the board, “We’re coming for you!”
AZ Senator Wendy Rogers responded:
“They should be in jail. Whoever sent the Maricopa Board of Supervisors an orange jump suit should be given a medal.”
They should be in jail. They defied multiple legal subpoenas. Whoever sent the Maricopa Board of Supervisors an orange jump suit should be given a medal.https://t.co/4m5s1FOpHo

Rogers is the target of fierce criticism over her comments about the actions by members of the Board of Supervisors. A recent CNN hit piece came after her Twitter comments claiming that refusing legal actions from the elected Senators is illegal- which it is.

CNN exploited the battle between Rogers and Supervisor Bill Gates:
“You’ve been dealing with this sham audit, can you talk to me about the level of threats you have been receiving, especially now?” Bolduan said.
“Yeah, unfortunately, the threats continue and they’re not simply organic,” Gates responded.
“They’re being driven unfortunately by members to the Arizona State Senate and other Republicans across the country. We have received phone calls into our offices at the Board of Supervisors, staff saying our families will be slaughtered and threatening us to stop standing up for the election workers of Maricopa County,” he said.
Gates also called for an end to the audit in May, calling Donald Trump’s claims of election impropriety “the big lie.”
“Now it is time to say, ‘enough is enough.’ It is time to push back on the big lie,” he said. “Otherwise, we are not going to be able to move forward and have an election in 2022 [where] we can all believe the results.”
This all begins with the fact that the board will not turn over to the Senate its routers, which Gates has insisted is not necessary because the election equipment was not connected to the Internet.
Gates has previously pushed back on all audits.
