The vacancy left by the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been a hot button topic even before her death, leading the left into fits of despair because of what they would lose from not having her far left and radical views pushing change and leading the right to elect a President they believe would choose a different type of jurist, mainly one who supported pro-life policies.

President Donald J. Trump’s platform from 2016 was that he would choose Conservative jurists, who would be guided by the principles of the US Constitution, and not an activist pushing for change. He has kept that promise.

The fight has begun to tirade over Trump’s Presidential authority to replace the Supreme Court justice, claiming they have the right to do that because they want to “let the people speak”, they elected a President.

The fight is going to come down to politics and party lines. And there is sure to be dirty tricks and hysteria from the left if the Bret Kavanaugh hearsing were any indicator. The concern is whether “Never Trump” Republicans finally expose themselves as having never really supported their Republican base.

January 2020: GOP Wants Trump to Fill Any Supreme Court Vacancy; Democrats Say Wait https://t.co/yzMDv2O0uC

According to Scott Rasmussen, the people already did speak. In January 2020 reported, he posted the following: “Voters are largely divided along party lines when asked if President Trump should fill any U.S. Supreme Court vacancy this year and whether former President Obama should be considered for the job.”

“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 45% of Likely U.S. Voters believe Trump should nominate someone to fill any Supreme Court position that opens up this year. Forty-nine percent (49%) disagree and say the position should be left open for the winner for the 2020 presidential election to fill.” (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The pressure is going to be tremendous upon Lindsey Graham he is the man who will gavel in the Senate in the confirmation hearings.

Paul Sperry wrote, ” The passing of Justice Ginsburg gives GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham, Tom Tillis & Joni Ernst — who are battling for reelection in close races in S.C., N.C. & Iowa, respectively — a prime platform as majority members of the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing nomination Sen. Lindsey Graham, who is in a tight race for reelection in South Carolina, will control the gavel at the pre-election confirmation hearings of Trump’s nominee to replace the late Justice Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. Graham chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee.”

The pressure will be intense on him for sure:

2. In 2018, Lindsey Graham said he wouldn’t support confirming a justice in 2020

But earlier this year, he said that if a vacancy opened up it would be different than the Garland situation

Does he want to take this on while he has a tough re-election?

“This is what Senator Lindsey Graham, the current Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said back in 2018. Let’s see if he has an ounce of integrity left and will keep his word,” said far-left radical/ Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders.

These senators publicly stated they would not vote to approve a SCOTUS replacement this close to the election. Call their offices and demand they keep their word:

Chuck Grassley 202-224-3744
Lindsey Graham 202-224-5972
Lisa Murkowski 202-224-6665
Susan Collins 202-224-2523 https://t.co/JzyIAnxNnb

And Failed Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is calling for more dirty tricks and resistance to the President than ever before according to MSNBC who reported,”Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton talks with Rachel Maddow about how hard Democrats need to fight to prevent Mitch McConnell from installing another Donald Trump pick to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court, and the possibility that even some Republicans would not be able to tolerate the hypocrisy of such a move by McConnell.”

Hillary Clinton says Senate Democrats "will have to use every single possible maneuver" to prevent Sen. McConnell from enacting "the greatest travesty" and "monumental hypocrisy" in attempting to fill Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's U.S. Supreme Court seat.https://t.co/f94CjI6JFP
