President Donald J. Trump has boldly denounced a terrible racist and sexist style of teaching called “Critical Race Theory” which has been adopted by most public institutions for the purpose of harassing, embarrassing and punishing Americans for embracing the core values of Western Civilization.
“The legacy of 1776 will never be erased,” Trump said Thursday. “The 1776 Commission is for combating School’s Teaching Students to be ashamed of America”
At a public Archives event, Trump announced that he will sign an Executive Order to establish the “1776 Commission” to renew pro-American public education for our nation’s children, and denounced Critical Racist Theory and talked about restoring “Patriotic lessons”. He began his speech saying “the twisted lies” about America must be “cleared from our classrooms.”
“With the help of everyone here today, the legacy of 1776 will never be erased. Our heroes will never be forgotten. Our youth will be taught to love America with all of their heart and all of their soul,” he said.
“America’s founding set in motion the unstoppable chain of events that abolished slavery, secured civil rights, defeated communism and fascism and built the most fair, equal, and prosperous nation in human history.”
‘1776 COMMISSION’: Trump Signs Order Establishing Commission to Promote ‘Patriotism in Schools’
President Trump announced Thursday a new Executive Order creating the ‘1776 Commission’, an organization that will promote “patriotic education” in America’s public schools.
“Today I’m also pleased to announce that I will soon sign an Executive Order establishing a national commission to promote patriotic education. It will be called the 1776 Commission,” said the President.
“It will encourage our educators to teach our children about the miracle of American history and make plans to honor the 250th anniversary of our founding,” he added.
“Critical race theory … is toxic propaganda—ideological poison—that if not removed, will dissolve the civic bonds that tie us together. It will destroy our country. That is why I recently banned trainings in this prejudiced ideology from the federal government.”
Trump created an uproar for discrediting the 1619 Project at his event.
The two sides:
The left leaning New York Times had to correct their support of the 1619 project.
The New York Post wrote about the 1619 project and said,” It took The New York Times seven months to admit a problem with its 1619 Project — and even its correction preserves the fundamental lie of its bid to rewrite American history.
The 1619 Project, which puts the nation’s true founding in the year African slaves were first brought here, insists that “out of slavery grew nearly everything that has truly made America exceptional: its economic might, its industrial power, its electoral system.” The Post’s Twisted History series showed earlier this month how wrong this was — in particular, project lead Nikole Hannah-Jones’ claim that the American Revolution was fought primarily to preserve slavery.”
Trump said that the 1776 Act will let people be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin, which is an embrace of the teachings of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. March on Washington, “I Have a Dream” speech.
