President Donald J. Trump announced the exciting update to the rumor that he had enjoyed a hole-in-one on Saturday before his magnificent rally of supporters in Georgia. Using the excellent humor he is known for, Trump released a fun statement from his “Office of 45”, along with a video of the joyous occasion that was captured on video.
As Golf.com puts it- Holes in One are exceptional, like Trump himself.
For many golfers, carding a hole-in-one is the pinnacle of achievement in the recreational game. Adding to the prestige is the fact that making one is both rare and fickle. Many skilled players have never had one, while other high-handicappers accrue more than a handful over the course of a lifetime.
According to the National Hole-In-One Registry, though over 128,000 aces are recorded every year, only one to two percent of players are lucky enough to make one during that time period. The odds of an average player having a hole-in-one during a round are 12,000/1 — in other words, a bet you wouldn’t expect to regularly cash in on, to say the least. Players who manage to make multiple holes-in-one are indeed exceptional.
“The president made a hole in one. That is amazing,” the man off-screen is heard saying as Trump walks by in his black slacks, while knit polo top and red baseball cap, with 45 embroidered in white on the side.
“181 yard 5 iron,” the man says, as Trump walks toward the hole to inspect the resting place of his golf ball. It appears to be a very windy day, with the flags flying, as Trump stops at the hole to point at his ball.
“It’s there,” Trump says and throws out his hands. “Tha’s great,” he says as the cameraman shows that the ball is indeed in the hole. “You don’t see that very often,” Trump says as his friends greet him with high fives.

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America
Many people are asking, so I’ll give it to you now, it is 100% true. While playing with the legendary golfer, Ernie Els, winner of four Majors and approximately 72 other tournaments throughout the world, Gene Sauers, winner of the Senior U.S. Open, Ken Duke, and Mike Goodes, both excellent tour players, I made a hole–in–one. It took place at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on the 7th hole, which was playing 181-yards into a slight wind. I hit a 5-iron, which sailed magnificently into a rather strong wind, with approximately 5 feet of cut, whereupon it bounced twice and then went clank, into the hole. These great tour players noticed it before I did because their eyes are slightly better, but on that one hole only, their swings weren’t. Anyway, there’s a lot of chatter about it, quite exciting, and people everywhere seem to be asking for the facts. Playing with that group of wonderful, talented players was a lot of fun. The match was Ernie and me (with no strokes) against Gene, Mike, and Ken. I won’t tell you who won because I am a very modest individual, and you will then say I was bragging—and I don’t like people who brag!
Of course, the left, who doesn’t understand the culture of good humor and good sportsmanship continued to show their dullard nature by complaining about Trump- but most Americans know it was a very exciting announcement for Trump and his friends who were there to enjoy the day with him.
