Members of Black Lives Matter had a press conference on Monday in front of a Police District to demand the release of some looters who had been arrested Sunday for stealing from upscale stores in downtown Chicago’s Magnificant Mile district.
“That’s a reparation,” Leader Ariel Atkins said. “Anything they want to take, take it because these businesses have insurance.”
Fox News reported on the unrest and said the BLM activists were downtown at a rally to “support the more than 100 arrested last night following widespread looting and rioting that caused at least $60 million in property damage and saw 13 police officers injured, according to a report.
BLM Chicago leader states looters stealing from retail stores is justified based on reperations and that insurance will pay stores for stolen goods. That is outrageous and directing criminal acts. She should be arrested for Rico acts and leading criminal acts. BLM is Marxist

You heard it folks. BLM spokesperson in Chicago not only demands looters be released from jail, but whatever looters took was reperations for her people. Sounds like some sort of privilege to me.

“I don’t care if someone decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy’s or a Nike store, because that makes sure that person eats,” said Atkins according to NBC Chicago. “That makes sure that person has clothes.”

Reaction TO NBC Story:
BLM promotes theft.
“I don’t care if someone decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy’s or a Nike store, because that makes sure that person eats,” Ariel Atkins, a BLM organizer, said. “That makes sure that person has clothes.”

Chicago police said the looting began after officers shot a man in the city’s Englewood neighborhood on Sunday afternoon. Authorities say the man, identified as 20-year-old Latrell Allen, had a gun and fired at police before they returned fire, striking and wounding him.
Allen now faces attempted murder charges after the incident.
“This person fired shots at our officers,” CPD Superintendent David Brown said. “Officers returned fire and struck the individual.”
That is when massive looting and wide-scale rioting happened.
Two days after the massive uprising business along the area is reported to be at a standstill. Local Shop owners are in danger of being completely destroyed.
A local restaurant owner on the Mag Mile talked to Fox News and said,”The looting occurring in Chicago is “very scary and disturbing,” said local business owner Roupen Demirdjian on Tuesday.”
If it’s for food and clothing, I do believe there are other avenues than looting and rioting,” said Demirdjian, whose family emigrated to the city from Armenia in 1970 and opened their restaurant, Sayat Nova, on the Magnificent Mile.
He said he loves the city and is not planning to relocate.
