Monday, on Steve Bannon’s War Room, tensions erupted into a sparring match between Raheem Kassam, the show co-host and editor of the National Pulse, and Alan Duke, the director of Lead Stories. Unfortunately, Duke was totally unprepared to explain his funding source and ties to the Chinese Communist party or his company’s tactics in censoring unfavorable content and discrediting journalists.
Key Point: Kassam directly asked Duke about how much he made representative of the Chinese Communist Party and Duke at first refused to address it by trying to evade the question and then said it was Free Market Capitalism to represent the Chinese Communist Party interest by censoring and labeling content on Facebook.
Viewers took note of Kassam’s boldness.

PART ONE
“The the last time we spoke was one of the most bizarre conversations I have ever had; we will have a more sophisticated talk this time. I think that it is all well and good that you can pull up from two years ago a CNN fact check that you made. Still, I want to ask some particulars about how you weigh different things up, and you got into some of that in the last segment with Steve. Still, I think the first question is that many people want to ask is that you talk about doing things the old school sort of way, or you do things the old School CNN way. Still, you are not really a fact-checker as you are a censor, and back in the day, what we would do is if someone misreported something, someone else would report it correctly, but you report it in your eyes, correctly, on your site and that is all well and good.
I am in favor of you being able to do that, but I don’t understand, Alan, and I hope you can explain to me is where you find the moral impetus to shut down things from your perspective on Facebook.
Kassam then talked about a story from the National Pulse where the content was censored for using the word “scheming.”
Duke’s Response:
“If you want to share that kind of content on the Facebook platform, my company has been contracted by Facebook to make an assessment where they can put a label on it. Isn’t it there for people to read?” Duke said.
“It has one of your Orwellian walls in front of it,” Kassam responded.
“Well I don’t know George Orwell, you just click on the filter and it is removed,” Duke said. “We are not cenosring, we are adding information and not censoring anyone,” Duke said.
“You deliver a flag to the page and then the page gets taken down for 30 days, is that censorship or not? ” Kassam asked.
“It is not censorship. Your story took things out of context and was misinformation. We labeled it missing context,” Duke said.
“According to who is it missing context?” Kassam. “To our staff,” Duke said. “What percentage of your staff give money to Democrat Party?” Kassam asked.
“Oh that’s easy. Zero,” Duke said.
“How much do you get paid by Bytedance, who is run by- who the US State Department calls- the mouth piece of the Communist Party?” Kassam asked as the discussion got escalated, and Duke squirmed and shifted in his seat.
Watch the odd exchange where Kassam busts Duke for his ties to the Communist Party at 5:30.
PART TWO
Duke continues to evade questions and insert information into the conversation that had nothing to do with the topic.
“We are not promoting Socialism or Communism, we are consultants for them,” Duke said. “We are an American company that is providing a service to China, and it is Free Enterprise,” Duke said. “I will not commit to not doing business with the Chinese Communist Party,” Duke said.
Editor of Human Events, Jack Posobiec, slammed Duke over his lies about censoring content that was easily validated by an audiotape validating Posobiec’s censored story about Hunter Biden, which Duke conveniently refused to listen to or to acknowledge. In part two, Duke refused to address the issue by introducing other issues.
