911 Chicago Dispatcher In Viral Video Says Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s Mismanagement Has Turned City Into ‘Death Zone’: ‘Blood is on her hands’ [VIDEO]

A Chicago 911 dispatcher named Keith Thornton Jr. has had enough of the bullschtein with Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot (the racist who back in May announced that she will only grant interview requests from reporters who are not white) and her inability to lower crime in her city.

This dispatcher, whose days on the job are probably numbered, is giving out warnings to people across the country that bad leadership from the mayor and other elected politicians in the Windy City has produced rising crime waves in Chicago where “all hell has broken loose,” according to Fox News.

Thornton, who was praised for how he has handled the job with specific incidents in the past, raised eyebrows last Thursday after he posted a video that was 28 minutes long where he spoke about Chicago’s dangerous crime situation and how he believes the situation is being mismanaged by Mayor Lightfoot, going so far as to say that “the blood is on her hands.”

The 911 dispatcher believes things are so bad now in Chicago that he is willing to risk his job by going public, claiming that in certain parts of the city, specifically the 16th District, which spans 30 square miles, police are terribly understaffed, many of them are afraid to work out there, and that it’s putting the whole city in real danger.

“If you are a Chicagoan, living here or doing business here, even just visiting as a tourist here, your safety is compromised and in jeopardy,” Thornton said according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

“This mayor does not care about Chicago police officers, period,” Thornton declared.

“She doesn’t care about any first responders,” he continued. “She don’t care about the damn city. Doesn’t matter if you’re white, black, Asian, Hispanic, other. Straight, gay. Democrat or Republican. She doesn’t even care about her city workers.”

On that point, it is clear. Just listen to Lightfoot when she speaks publicly about police and other first responders. If there is the slightest controversy, real or imagined, Lightfoot takes the opposite side of police in most instances. Like the failed New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, who has united all New Yorkers in that they all hate him, Lightfoot causes real morale problems among police because they don’t believe her administration, or the top brass of the Chicago Police Department, will have their backs when needed. Thornton clarifies that the Superintendent has his hands tied with what he can do and it all goes back to Lightfoot’s poor leadership.

“All that lady cares about is her f***ing self,” Thornton said. He labeled her as bully, which again, all you have to do is watch when she speaks publicly to know that she is a bully.  Thornton then spoke directly to Mayor Lightfoot, saying, “I pray you’re watching this because you’re a disgrace. And I’m tired of it, and your city is tired of it. Matter of fact, it’s not your city. The city of Chicago is tired of it.”

After Thornton posted the video that went viral on Facebook, he did an interview with WLS-TV where he told the outlet, “When I’m getting text messages from officers telling me that they’re scared and afraid for their safety because they’re working by themselves and then the beat next to them, that would normally back them up, they’re not even there because the cars are down, that’s a problem. That’s a safety concern,” he said.

The 911 dispatcher also said that city authorities are not being honest with the people of Chicago about the real problems the city is facing due to police staffing issues and lack of policing equipment that helps them do their job to protect communities.

On Tuesday, Thornton told “Fox & Friends First,” “It’s out of control, and the citizens of Chicago deserve to know that what’s being done behind closed doors or what’s being told to them, it’s all false.”

“This is the absolute worst that it’s been where it is affecting every part of the community within Chicago, every part of the town,” he said, saying that the city is a “death zone.”

In a subsequent interview on Fox News, Thornton said, “What’s going on in Chicago, all hell has broken loose. It’s been shenanigans, and it’s just non-stop day after day. Doesn’t matter if it’s morning time, evening time, whatever, at all hours of the day there is a massive amount of crime taking place within the city of Chicago. It’s horrendous. People are being shot, killed. Doesn’t matter what age you are. Doesn’t matter if you’re female or male anymore.”

“But what’s more horrible is the lack of leadership, the failure of leadership throughout this entire city of Chicago,” Thornton added. “And it’s ridiculous, because it does not have to be this way.”

The dispatcher said that first responders, “have absolutely no backing, they’re being overworked, and with the shortages going on right now, it’s only affecting the citizens of Chicago.”

Lightfoot’s current term ends in 2023. Let’s hope men and women, just like Thornton, get the word out about what a horrible job she is doing as mayor so that the city elects someone else, because at this point, I can’t see anyone else doing worse.
