Oh, how the mighty have fallen. J. K. Rowling, the billionaire author of the Harry Potter series, a progressive princess on social media for virtue-signaling, was canceled a couple of years ago over posts she made about transgenders.

Now, a “Harry Potter” event at a book festival in New Zealand has been canceled because of the same comments.

Featherston Booktown Karukatea Festival organizers decided to cancel a scheduled “Harry Potter” interactive quiz, which “had been extremely popular at previous events,” according to Stuff. The festival folks said they felt they had to pull the quiz because of Rowling’s prior comments by that could offend someone. Translation: They’re afraid of the Woke Supremacy.

Peter Biggs, the board chairman of the Festival, said that the decision to cancel the “Harry Potter” quiz was a difficult one, and ultimately pulled the event after consulting with members of the literary sector and the LGBTQ community. I wonder if they consult with any conservative communities when holding an event for a progressive who trashes them?

“The overwhelming response was there was a risk around causing distress to particular members of the community, and that was the last thing we wanted to do,” Biggs said. “We always thought Booktown should be an inclusive, welcoming place for everyone, so we took the decision not to go with ‘Harry Potter.'” I wonder if any of that statement wasn’t written by the gay mafia?

Jenny Whyte, a Featherston resident, and feminist activist, said she wasn’t shocked that they canceled the event.

“I think they might be trying to capitalize on the current fad of cancel culture,” Whyte told Stuff. “Featherston Booktown has a session selling tickets to a panel discussing cancel culture, so there’s an irony certainly.” And there you have it. The Woke Supremacy has enough street creds to screw up an event at a flipping book festival.

Rowling knows all about cancel culture. The bestselling author upset the outrage merchants back in 2019 when she gave support to a researcher who was fired from her job after tweeting that men and women can’t change their biological sex by having elective surgeries. The proper response to Rowling’s support of that statement should have been, “Well, duh,” but the Woke Supremacy, the party of science, did not approve of the real scientific message.

And once you’re on the Woke Supremacy’s radar, they never stop watching you. You cannot apologize enough times to get back in with the Supremacy, and they just continue to pounce on you until you go away quietly forever.

Back in June, Rowling was accused of spreading transphobia [is that a real word] for pointing out there there are by definition biological genders, and even though she said that she “respects every trans person’s right to live any way that feels authentic and comfortable to them,” it didn’t matter.

“If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth,” Rowling wrote.

“The idea that women like me, who’ve been empathetic to trans people for decades, feeling kinship because they’re vulnerable in the same way as women — ie, to male violence — ‘hate’ trans people because they think sex is real and has lived consequences — is a nonsense,” she continued.

“I respect every trans person’s right to live any way that feels authentic and comfortable to them. I’d march with you if you were discriminated against on the basis of being trans. At the same time, my life has been shaped by being female. I do not believe it’s hateful to say so.”

It didn’t matter. The author committed the number one heresy: she went against the Woke Supremacy, and that’s rarely, if ever, forgiven.

Rowling didn’t yet learn her lesson with the online mob because just a month later she was at it again with the whole common sense thing, this time about hormone therapy and gender reassignment surgery often being over-prescribed to teenagers. And the outrage continued.

By December 2020, Rowling finally realized that Twitter is an impossible venue to get your point across and became fed up with cancel culture and online bullying even though she used to do it via virtue-signaling. That’s when she called for an end to the “climate of fear” over the fiery debate about transgender people.

“Many are afraid to speak up because they fear for their jobs and even for their personal safety,” Rowling said during a Good Housekeeping magazine interview. “This climate of fear serves nobody well, least of all trans people.”

“I believe everybody should be free to live a life that is authentic to them, and that they should be safe to do so,” Rowling said. “I also believe that we need a more nuanced conversation around women’s rights and around the huge increase in numbers of girls and young women who are seeking to transition.”

I make more then $12,000 a month online. It’s enough to comfortably replace my old jobs income, especially considering I only work about 11 to 12 hours a week from home. I was amazed how easy it was after I tried it GOOD LUCK…..https://www.worksclick.com
