A Group of Black Leaders Threatened Joe Biden Will Lose the Election if He Doesn’t Choose a Black Woman As Running Mate

A group of over 100 Black male leaders is demanding that presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden “has” to name a black woman as his running mate.

In a public letter sent on Monday, the signers warned Biden that “failing to select a Black woman in 2020 means you will lose the election.”

So, now when he capitulates to their demands, it’s only going to show two things; Biden will be a puppet to black leaders and he’s a weak candidate who can’t make decisions on his own because he’s going to capitulate.

Do this group not understand that black people aren’t the only ones who Biden needs to beat Donald Trump?  Do they think non black voters will accept a weak man who can’t even pick his own running mate?

Apparently the group doesn’t like it when the American people want to know more about candidates who are asking for their vote, saying of the vetting process it “disgusts us that Black women are not just being vetted in this VP process but unfairly criticized and scrutinized.”

So, are they asking for a new affirmative action program for black women?  Everyone in contention for being a vice presidential pick goes through the political gauntlet, Republicans more so than Democrats, but the group is asking for special treatment for black women.  Are they saying they don’t want voters to know anything about the VP pick?  That’s absurd.

the people who co-signed the letter are a bunch of entertainers, radio hosts, filmmakers, professors, politicians, attorneys, athletes, pastors, business leaders, and activists.  They highlighted that they “stand in solidarity” with over 700 Black women who last week signed a letter demanding that Biden choose a Black running mate.  Wow!  700?

Let’s all pause for a moment here and consider how utterly racist it would be for a group of 100 white men to tell Joe Biden that unless he picks a white woman as his running mate he will lose the white vote.  Can you imagine the hysteria that would ensue?  Yet, this group of racist men will be championed by the media.

At the top of the list is rapper, record executive Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has warned Biden a number of times in recent months to not take the Black vote for granted.

Let me get this straight.  Biden is the guy who told The Breakfast Club radio host Charlamagne Tha God that if black people didn’t vote for him over Donald Trump “you ain’t black,” and he more recently declared that black people aren’t as diverse in thought as the Latino community, and these clowns are still giving him a shot at getting their vote?  What does a Democrat have to do to lose the black vote?  Create a crime bill that puts black people in prison for very long sentences for non violent crimes?  Oh, wait, Biden already did that.  Would he have to be against busing and constantly reach out to known Democrat segregationists in Congress?  Wait, he did that too.  I think if Biden used the N word during his next speech, guys like this 100 would make an excuse for it.

Biden said he understood the comments sounded like he was taking the Black vote “for granted” but insisted that wasn’t the case.  Let’s be honest.  Joe Biden doesn’t understand much of anything anymore, so what’s the point?  What else is he going to say?  Democrats have taken the black vote for granted for over 30 years.

Biden’s long had a strong relationship with Black leaders and voters, and not because of his superior intellect, but because he’s a Democrat.  And the most frustrating thing is knowing that had it not been for the Democratic Party we would never have had to do a single civil rights bill.  Think about that.

The letter argued that “the urgency” for Biden to name a Black woman as his running mate “has gone from something that SHOULD happen to something that HAS to happen. It disgusts us that Black women are not just being vetted in this VP process but unfairly criticized and scrutinized.”
