An Afghan interpreter who previously helped rescue then-Senator Joe Biden pleaded with the now feckless President Joe Biden to rescue him and his family, who were left behind after the United States finished its withdrawal on Tuesday abandoning thousands of people including American citizens, green card holders, and Afghan allies who need to get out of the country.
The interpreter, who saved Biden along with then-Senators Chuck Hagel and John Kerry when their helicopter got lost during a snowstorm in 2008 and was forced to land, asked Biden not to forget him, a plea that is ostensibly at odds with the White House’s position that it will continue to aid with evacuation efforts.
“Hello Mr. President: Save me and my family,” the interpreter, identified only as Mohammed, told the Wall Street Journal. “Don’t forget me here.”
We know that the Fake News and mainstream news media love to portray Joe Biden as Captain Empathy, but he has an entire career history of not giving a damn about anyone but himself.
Mohammed’s visa application for immigration to the US was stalled when the defense contractor he worked for lost the documents needed, Brian Genthe, a former staff sergeant in the Arizona National Guard who brought Mohammed along on the 2008 mission to rescue the senators, told the Journal. When the Taliban took over Kabul on August 15, Mohammed tried to get to the airport but was told he would have to leave his wife and children behind, which of course caused him to stay, the report said.
US Army veterans who worked with Mohammed contacted lawmakers on the interpreter’s behalf.
“If you can only help one Afghan, choose [Mohammed],” Shawn O’Brien, an Army combat veteran who worked with him in Afghanistan in 2008 wrote, followed by, “He earned it.”
The interpreter who helped rescue Joe Biden is now hiding from the Taliban who want to kill him and all the interpreters said he’s now afraid to leave his house.
His inability to get out of the country contradicts the promises made by the Biden White House to help evacuate any US citizen or ally who was left behind and wants to get out. White House mouthpiece Jen Psaki argued against using the word “stranded” to reporters who used it to describe people left behind. How about the word “abandoned?” That seems more appropriate at this point.
“I think it’s irresponsible to say Americans are stranded,” Psaki told scolded reporters during a briefing on August 23 when asked whether the troops should have been pulled out before the evacuations of Americans and allies were complete. “They are not.”
The Biden administration throughout has gotten the memo to gaslight America over the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle 100 percent caused by this feckless president.
There are plenty of chilling stories coming forward of people begging Biden to help them, including a woman identified as Fatima.
“We are in danger. We are in danger, Mr. President. Please help us,” the woman pleaded during an August 24 appearance on Fox & Friends First. “Yes, we are stranded.” I guess she didn’t get the memo from Jen Psaki about using that word.
The US evacuated over 120,000 people from Afghanistan as of Monday. About 6,000 of them have been identified as US citizens and their families. Officials said that hundreds of US citizens who wanted to leave the country remained in Afghanistan after the U.S. withdrawal. That’s because Captain Empathy ordered the military to not wait for them to get to the Kabul airport and since Biden ordered the military to not go out and find Americans and bring them back to the airport, he basically left them behind enemy lines where at least three different groups of terrorists, the Taliban, ISIS-K, and al-Qaeda, are searching for them. And if that’s not bad enough, the Americans left behind can’t hide because Biden gave the Taliban a list of their names.
Instead of commenting on this, the White House pointed to Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s statement from Monday night.
“We’ve worked intensely to evacuate and relocate Afghans who worked alongside us and are at particular risk of reprisal. We’ve gotten many out, but many are still there,” Blinken said. “We will keep working to help them. Our commitment to them has no deadline.”
I heard they are using the same team that OJ Simpson hired to find the real killer.
