On Tuesday, the FBI concluded at the end of their investigation that a “noose” discovered in the garage stall of NASCAR’s only black, and top driver, Bubba Wallace, had been in the Talladega Superspeedway garage stall since at least October 2019 and NASCAR said in a statement that the “noose” was actually a garage door pull. We reported on the FBI’s findings of the incident yesterday.
Here’s a photo of a garage door pull in the stalls:
Regardless of the findings that determined the alleged “noose” was part of the garage stall, MSNBC’s Al Not-So Sharpton continued to question the findings. Because that’s what race hustlers like Sharpton do. Does the name Tawana Brawley ring a bell?
On Wednesday, Sharpton appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” show saying that both the FBI and NASCAR continued to refer to what was found in the stall as a “noose.” What else are they going to call it? It was a noose, but that doesn’t make it a racial threat.
Sharpton additionally suggested somebody assigned Wallace, who the MSNBC host referred to as a “victim and possible target,” the garage with a noose, and said he doesn’t think the investigation is closed.
So, “there’s a racist around every corner” Al Sharpton thinks the stall was assigned to Wallace because of the noose. Never mind that no one considered it an actual “noose” until now. Don’t get me wrong. I fully understand that the concept of a noose is a psychological trigger for many black Americans, especially those who are old enough to remember those days when they were used against black people. But we’re talking about a garage door pull with no supporting evidence that it was done as a racial slur against Wallace.
Apparently the rabble-rouser Sharpton is even questioning the garage door pull rope being there in the first place, saying, “It’s clear what a noose represents.”
“The FBI identified it as a noose. NASCAR said it was a noose or went along with the FBI’s characterization. It was a noose,” Sharpton emphasized. “So, the question is, even if they did not know that Bubba Wallace was going to use that stall, why was a noose in the stall? It’s clear what a noose represents. And I think to go whether or not they knew that sooner or later the one black driver would use that stall really doesn’t answer why it was in the stall at all. And then did someone know that it was in the stall when they did belatedly assign Bubba there? So, I don’t think this answers a lot of questions. And clearly, from what we just saw of Bubba Wallace, it does not seem he, who is the victim and possible target in this matter, seems to be satisfied with this. So I do not think that we’ve seen closure in this particular inquiry.”
It’s called a noose. I supposed they could have used the word lasso, or lariat, hitch, snare or other terms, but they used the word noose, because that’s probably the term used when it was reported to the FBI. It is a noose for goodness’ sake, but that doesn’t mean that every noose represents the days when Democrats and their terror wing, the Ku Klux Klan, went around hanging innocent black people. There are lots of uses for noose knots that have no ill intentions whatsoever, a garage door pull being one of them. A noose used to tie down a horse to a fence, or noose knots used in boating are more examples.
