We have always thought of Australia as a country of nice, laid back people who were the other Brits but with suntans and a cheeky attitude toward life brought about by knowing they were not at the top of the food chain in their country. All that has changed in such a short period of time that it’s mind boggling to consider. The country Down Under was the last one anyone would have thought would go full Soviet style totalitarian.
Australia’s Northern Territory state has begun using quarantine camps for people who test positive for COVID-19 on top of total lockdowns where residents are not permitted to leave, even for food. The government has to bring you food. It’s like they turned your own home into a prison.
Chief Minister Michael Gunner made an announcement last Saturday on Facebook. He said a “testing blitz” of 3,005 PCR tests revealed in 9 positive results in the Binjari community that has a population of 274. The ages of those 9 are between 17 and 78-years-old.
The oldest was symptomatic and transferred to a hospital, while the others were sent to the Centre for National Resilience for “monitoring and care.”
Centre for National Resilience is the new name given for the prison known as the Howard Springs Quarantine Facility. The place was initially designed to be a mining camp, and it started “housing Australians repatriated from overseas” as the Northern Territory’s 14-day quarantine facility.
A video was released of Howard Springs on YouTube by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. In the video, it shows that the site is not really a “comfortable respite from daily construction work” and a “place to call home” as AECON likes to describe it. It’s really just a series of trailers where people are living while there.
Apparently, food is made in a centralized kitchen and then delivered to each trailer because the people who live there are not free to walk around and get their own food. It sounds more like a prison camp.
In a promotional video released in November 2020 by a YouTube channel that chronicled a stay at the facility reported that a husband and wife team were being kept in separate rooms. They were allowed to go out on their balcony (front porch) and go into each other’s rooms, and they were allowed to visit other people in nearby trailers. The couple said they paid $5,000 AUD ($3,561.50 US) to stay at the facility.
A TikTok video posted on September 24 by an Australian citizen who was being held at the prison camp gave the raw naked feeling that the atmosphere was anything but relaxing there. He was outside his trailer, wearing a face mask, when he said, “We’re all just waiting patiently to be fed. It’s like when you shake the bag of dog treats and the dogs come running. We’re all just outside waiting.”
He then talked about how a woman across from him was drinking tea and she took her face mask down for as long as it takes to take a sip from the cup and police came out of nowhere reprimanding her for doing it.
“The cops came around literally on the dot and just pulled her up for it.” He said the woman told the officers that she was just drinking her tea and they said, “Well, not right now, you’re not. Put your facemask on.”

Folks, that means they are being watched by video surveillance.
The Chief Minister said that the state believed they would have positive cases in that area after surveilling the community’s waste sewage.
Gunner said the administration knew where to find positive PCR tests because of sewage test results in the Katherine and Bicentennial Road areas, saying, “Given we have removed the positive cases identified in that area, it does concern us that we are still getting positive readings there.”
“That means it’s likely there is still a positive case or cases in that part of Katherine, who have not come forward for testing.”
Revealing the tyrannical attitude of government officials, Gunner then said, “What’s more concerning is the evidence of substantial mingling between households in Binjari, as well as mingling and back and forth between Binjari and the nearby community of Rockhole…”
Mingling is as human as breathing. They are putting people through hell over 9 positive results for a virus that they already know is never going away.
Gunner continued, “These communities have very strong personal and family connections. It probably helps to think about them more as one big household rather than a lot of different households.”
I wonder if the Gestapo said the same thing about the people in their camps?
Gunner patted himself on the back by saying that the administration “took urgent action to escalate our response” by enforcing “a hard lockdown.”
People who live in Binjari and Wallace Rockhole, a community of 67 people, are not allowed to leave their homes for any reason. They can’t even leave to get food. They can only leave for medical treatment in an emergency or if they are required by law for some reason.
“Yes, these are strong measures, but the threat to lives is extreme,” Gunner said. There is a 99% survival rate. Give the people ivermectin and let them live their lives again.
Gunner also stated that 38 contact traces of the nine positive test results had been transferred to the Howard Springs quarantine camp and expected more to follow. Those are people who aren’t sick but had contact with the 9. What the hell is going on in Australia?
“At this stage there is very little chance of Binjari and Rockhole exiting any form of lockdown in the next few weeks,” said Gunner, citing that the areas are a “low-vax community.”
In other words, the government is punishing the people for not getting vaccinated.
We never thought we would see Australia go full Soviet style totalitarian. It’s sad to witness it, and even sadder to see there are people who still believe their government has the best interests of the people.
It’s not about the virus with a 99% survival rate. Not anymore. Africa has a 6% vaccine rate and the lowest COVID cases, despite a variant popping up recently. 94% of the continent is unvaccinated and they live their lives freer than the West.
A recent Harvard study of 68 countries and 2,947 US counties reveals the same pattern everywhere; the populations with the highest vaccination rates have the highest COVID cases. The pattern even prevails in subcategories.
The funny thing is the Harvard study is listed on the US NIH website and our government completely ignores it while gaslighting the world. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/labs/pmc/articles/PMC8481107/
Who is paying their mortgages and other bills while they’re locked up?
Good luck, Australia!
