On CNN’s “State of the Union” show on Sunday, self-avowed socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said that Democrats have allowed Republicans “to get away with murder.” That’s pretty funny coming from a guy whose lying rhetoric about Republicans caused a crazed Sanders supporter to go shoot up a baseball field where Republican members of Congress were practicing for a game. Sanders’ loon shot and nearly killed Steve Scalise, who was the House Majority Whip at the time. Four others were also shot that day, making the senator from Vermont King Chutzpah for accusing Republicans of getting away with a crime.
Host Dana Bash said, “Let’s go back to the notion of how you’re going to do what President Biden talked about, passing what he called big chunks of the social spending and climate plan. You say you want every senator to vote. Can you specifically talk about how you’re going to — you want to go about doing that? How can you get these things, not just to have political votes to show that Republicans are against it, but more importantly, how can you pass at least the bare minimum of what you think you can?”
Remember that Sanders and AOC, along with other socialist progressives, teamed up with the Biden people after the clown car of 2020 Democrat primary contenders realized that for the greater good if they all behaved like good little comrades and dropped out of the primary race to let Joe Biden get the nomination, they could pull that puppet’s strings from above the stage curtains and get him to propose all of their radical ideas.
Sanders said, “What’s most important is that the ideas we’re fighting for are enormously popular. 70%, 80% of the American people want Medicare to negotiate prescription drug costs, people want to expand Medicare, people want to deal with the crisis of climate.” Vermont, which has 12 people and a moose, tried to do a healthcare for all plan, and it failed miserably because they always do. So then why is Sanders continually pushing for the whole of the United States to implement what those dozen Vermonters and the moose couldn’t do?
Actually, in every poll, except for exclusive members of the Bernie Sanders Giggle House Club, climate change is always at the bottom of a list of things Americans want to deal with. It’s because most people know the watermelon people (climate change proponents are green on the outside and socialist red on the inside) have over-hyped the bullschtein climate change scam with alarmist predictions of doom and gloom coming to us all in only 10, 12, 20, 50, or a gazillion years. Nobody knows because it’s all made up. AOC famously predicted in 2019 that we only have 12 more years to live if Americans don’t stop having a good time. Has anyone in the mainstream news media asked her recently if we now only have 9 more years left before we all meet our makers? And does the bad stuff that climate change will bring to cause all of our deaths in 9 years from now start happening at the very end of her insane prediction, or will we start seeing some evidence sooner than that? #EyeRoll
Sanders added, “So what we’re talking about is what the American people want. I think when you bring bills on the floor — we have allowed the Republicans to get away with murder. They haven’t had to vote on anything. If they want to vote against lowering the cost of prescription drugs, expanding Medicare, dealing with child care, dealing with housing, let them vote and let Manchin and Sinema decide which side they are on. When all of that shakes out, we’ll see where we are. I have the feeling that we will be able to get 50 votes or more on some of these issues. We can put that piece together and then pass something that’s very significant.”
After the 2020 theft, the creation of a January 6 gulag, vaccine mandates, lockdowns, mask mandates, spending us into oblivion, killing our energy sector, bringing in over 2 million illegal aliens in one year, Bernie Sanders has a lot of balls to claim Republicans are getting away with anything.
