Biden Picks Pa Health Secretary Rachel Levine To Be Assistant Health Secretary, Will Be First Transgender Confirmed by the Senate

On Tuesday, Joe Biden announced that Pennsylvania’s Heath Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine will serve as the assistant Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary, making it the first time a transgender official will be confirmed by the US Senate.

Levine will be the top deputy to HHS Secretary-designee Xavier Becerra of California.  God saves us all.

“Dr. Rachel Levine will bring the steady leadership and essential expertise we need to get people through this pandemic — no matter their zip code, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability — and meet the public health needs of our country in this critical moment and beyond,” Biden said in a press release that circulated Tuesday morning. “She is a historic and deeply qualified choice to help lead our administration’s health efforts.”

Folks, I’m from Pennsylvania and this person is a disaster.  Levine ordered COVID positive patients into nursing homes and then pulled her mother out of a personal care home just prior to the order going into effect.  That’s not leadership.  That’s killing a whole bunch of elderly people and breaking your own rules to spare one of your own.  That’s what you can expect from Rachel Levine.

Kamala Harris added that Levine is “a remarkable public servant with the knowledge and experience to help us contain this pandemic, and protect and improve the health and well-being of the American people.”

Nonsense.   As Pennsylvania Health Secretary paperwork was obtained that was marked as a confidential settlement agreement between Dr. Levine and the Carlisle Car Show, a large outdoor event near Harrisburg.  Lots of people go to it.

The documents reveal that Levein and the people who run the Carlisle Car Show came to a quiet agreement that allowed the car show to go on in eastern Pa even though it violated the so-called green phase restrictions that the whole state of Pennsylvania was supposed to be adhering to which stipulated only 250 people were allowed to attend outdoor events and only a measly 25 people could attend indoor events.

The confidential agreement that Levine came to allowed the car show to run for four days with 20,000 people per day being allowed in.  The Wolf administration cared so much for Pennsylvanias they locked people down in their homes, forced businesses to shut down, many of which will never be able to come back, but they didn’t care a bit to allow 80,000 people to attend a car show.  You have to ask what was the quo to Levine’s quid?  Folks, this would be considered corruption if Levine and Wolf had an R next to their name instead of a D.

By allowing only 25 people at indoor events that means that most church services were infringed upon by the government more-than-likely because the individual churches could present a nice off that the car show allegedly did.

The Democrats running Pennsylvania’s executive branch, like many other Democrats running other states, seem to think that rules are for the people, not the dictators, because Governor Wolf violated Levine’s guidance on avoiding crowds when he marched with Black Lives Matter in Dauphin County, Pa over the summer.  But not worry because the governor acknowledged he “took a real gamble” participating in the George Floyd riots.

Congressman Fred Keller (R-12th) represents a very large area in the middle of the state, and said of Wolf’s participation in the protest while locking down businesses the governor’s “hypocrisy knows no end.”

Wolf actually said that hardworking Pennsylvanians protesting for their right to earn a living were “cowardly,” while he also said of his violation of Pa guidelines that it was very important that he showed support for a cause to eradicate racism.  Feeding your family is not as important as marching with people who call for defunding the police and pushing critical race theory onto your children.  Dr. Levine was characteristically silent.
