Biden State Department Tries To Steal Credit From ‘Private Rescue Team’ Who Got Mother and 3 Children Out of Afghanistan

The Biden administration is not only inept and bumbling, but they’re fake, phony frauds as well.

The promoter of a private mission to rescue an American mother, Mariam, and her 3 children from Afghanistan who were left stranded by the Biden administration, says the US State Department has been trying to inject itself into the story of their rescue, even though the agency had little to no role throughout the evacuation rescue effort.

On Monday, senior State Department officials announced that the “US has facilitated the safe departure of four US citizens by overland route from Afghanistan. Embassy staff was present upon their arrival.”

No, they didn’t facilitate the rescue.

The people who took part in the dangerous rescue mission say that the State Department does not deserve credit for the mother’s escape with her children from Afghanistan.

Cory Mills with a private team of military veterans, who were funded by private donations, led the push to rescue Mariam and her 3 children from Afghanistan, where they were left stranded behind enemy lines by the Biden administration, according to multiple sources familiar with Mariam’s evacuation rescue confirmed the story.

It was Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX) who let Mills know about Mariam’s family which started Mills and his team to work on the effort for weeks.

At first, the team tried to get  mariam and the kids on one of the last flights out of Kabul, but the mother was unable to get her family admitted into the airport.

The utterly worthless State Department repeatedly told her to get to the airport gate, and after making it through Taliban checkpoints on the journey, they were refused entry to the airport every time, according to Mills.

The last time she tried to get into the airport, a Taliban fighter pointed his pistol at her, warning her not to come back again. Not long after that, Taliban fighters asked locals who knew Mariam how they could find her. That’s about the time when Mills and his team rushed to get her and the kids out of the city and into a safe house.

Plan B was to have the family get on a private charter plane from Mazar-i-Sharif airport, however, the planes were never cleared to take off. Some blamed the State Department for not getting private charter flights cleared to land in third countries, and some, including Representative Michael McCaul, blamed the Taliban for grounding the planes.

When those two attempts failed, Mills did not give up. His last attempt was to have the family travel over terrain to a neighboring country and get them across the border.

After a number of tries and what Mills described as playing a “shell game,” Mariam’s family was finally able to cross the border on Monday right before the Taliban closed the checkpoint to prevent Americans from escaping. That means any Americans left inside Afghanistan are probably hostages by now.

Mills told Fox News that the State Department trying to take credit for Mariam and her family’s rescue is “absolute nonsense.”

“The fact that they’re spinning this, trying to take 100% credit when they didn’t track this family, when they placated this family, when the mother, who was under extreme stress and extreme pressure, reached out to the State Department multiple times and got no help,” Mills said.

When asked if they were overstating their role in Mariam’s rescue, the State Department said in an email, “The Department assisted four Americans depart Afghanistan via an overland route on Monday. We provided guidance to them, worked to facilitate their safe passage, and Embassy officials greeted the Americans once they had crossed the border.”

Mills and other people who were familiar with what happened during the rescue mission said that the agency is inflating the role it played and little whatsoever to do with the mission until the worst part, getting the family across the border, was done.

“This is an attempt to save face by the administration for the Americans they left behind. This is a woman with three children from age 15 all the way down to two-years-old. And they did nothing to try to expedite this… But at the very last minute you have these ‘senior officials’ at the State Department trying to claim credit for this like ‘oh yeah look what we’ve done,'” Mills said.

“It’s like we carried the ball to the 99-and-a-half yard line and them taking it that last half yard and being like ‘look what we did.’”

Representative Jackson also criticized the State Department for trying to take credit.

“The only thing the Biden Administration seems to be good at is patting itself on the back for a job horribly done. This administration left my constituents behind in Afghanistan and now they’re lying about their role in getting these four American citizens out,” Jackson said.

“The State Department didn’t do anything for two weeks except put my constituents in danger and leave them stranded. I know this for a fact because my office has been working around the clock to get our people home with no legitimate support from State. Only after Cory Mills and his team got them into the third country did State offer support by securing tourist visas,” Jackson continued.

“Cory and his team are brave patriots. Praise God that American veterans have more resolve than Joe Biden or his State Department.”

Let’s not forget that Joe Biden is the reason all of this had to happen. He changed the Trump administration’s withdrawal plan to withdraw the military first with no thoughts of getting American citizens, green card holders, or Afghan allies out of the country while under Taliban security since the US turned down running security for the Kabul airport.
