The scuttlebutt going around is that Biden is going to give a speech about his push for police reform agenda through what will obviously be an illegal executive order as early as this month.
I say it will be an illegal executive order because as far as I know; the Congress has never voted on a power to allow a president to interfere in state law enforcement laws, rules, or regulations. And I don’t believe the Congress even has the power to do so. The federal government would have to ask the states for permission to interfere in state law enforcement in the form of an amendment to the US Constitution. The federal government was given only 18 enumerated powers in the Constitution. That means that for every power it seeks to give itself, if it is not enumerated (listed) in the Constitution, then they have to ask for permission from the states.
The 10th Amendment of the Bill of Rights says that any powers the federal government seeks that are not already give to it, they belong to the states. Even powers that are not yet thought up.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
With very few notable exceptions, the US Constitution does not allow the federal government to control state or local government agencies, including law enforcement. The Biden administration should read the 10th Amendment and then have someone who understands it come and explain it to them.
While all the eggheads in the federal court system and all the university law professors tell you that the federal government can do whatever it wants to do, I’m right and they are wrong. It’s just that simple. The federal government over the years, by control under both parties, has usurped powers that did not belong to them from the states. This is why our country is so screwed up. When our representatives break the rules to satisfy their own political ambitions for power, there are always consequences for others. Joe Biden has spent a lifetime doing that.
While Biden’s executive actions are still being finalized, they are expected to be rolled out at the beginning of Black History Month, which is in February. This is all being done while Biden’s handlers are trying to achieve policy goals before Biden’s State of the Union show in March.
The Democrat-run House passed a sweeping police reform package, but after months of negotiations among a group of senators that we are told was a bipartisan effort, failed.
“I still hope to sign into law a comprehensive and meaningful police reform bill that honors the name and memory of George Floyd, because we need legislation to ensure lasting and meaningful change,” Biden said when the bill stalled in September. “But this moment demands action, and we cannot allow those who stand in the way of progress to prevent us from answering the call. That is why my Administration has already taken important steps, with the Justice Department announcing new policies on chokeholds, no-knock warrants, and body cameras.”
If your action harms more people than it helps, it’s not considered progress.
Psaki Psaki made her announcement tease at the end of probably the administration’s worst week yet. The Biden administration has not had a good week yet, and this week was their worst with numbers failures. Among them, his signature evil policy of forcing 80 million American workers to get vaccinated for COVID or lose their jobs and not be able to feed their families was struck down by the Supreme Court, along with receiving confirmation that his plans to murder the filibuster rule in the senate and slaughter the Constitution’s electoral process by forcing all 50 states to throw out election integrity laws, including voter ID laws, and supersede them with federal election laws written by the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.
Speaking of the filibuster, Biden received a lot of heat over his racially divisive speech to end the filibuster so that Democrats could ram through their election rules scam that would have allowed the party to cheat in all 50 states so that Republicans would never win again. Imagine the enormity of what they tried to do and the Fake News media reported on it as if it was just another normal round of legislation.
I think everyone reading this should thank Senators Kyrsten Sinema (D-AR) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) for saving our republic. No joke. Their refusal to go along with their party’s attempt to rig all future elections is something we all should be thankful for.
On top of all that, Biden’s poll numbers dropped to 33%. Richard Nixon was heading out to the helicopter when he was at 36%.
