You would think that with all the controversy surrounding Joe Biden, his son Hunter and others in and around the Biden sphere of influences with China that the new Thief-in-Chief would be a little more sensitive to who he picks to run his top US intelligence agency.
President Biden picked William J. Burns to be the new director of the CIA. A former deputy secretary of state, he’s the president of a think tank that has gotten about $2 million from a Chinese businessman (really?) as well as from a think tank with close ties to the Communist Chinese Party. Did conservatives not call it or what?
China is our number one adversary and Biden picked a guy who as president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace invited close to a dozen congressional staffers to go with on a junket to China, and that’s where they met with an operative of the communist Chinese party and the president of a Chinese front group. It’s like Biden’s not even hiding it.
As president of Carnegie, Burns was paid handsomely, over $540,000 a year, and he is set to appear before the Senate Intelligence Committee for a confirmation hearing sometime this month. I’m sure no Democrat will have a tough question about his exposure to Chinese operatives who will now want to get information from him about our government, but I at least hope the Republicans have the testicles to do so.
Joe Biden poses an existential threat to the US. He is in the back pocket of the Communist Chinese Party what with all the deals his son Hunter got involved in with Chinese-government-owned businesses, which could explain Burns’ nomination. We have all seen and heard about credible information of Hunter Biden’s Chinese connections in “business” deals that involve his father as the “Big Guy” who gets 10 percent of the take. Folks, there are some real questions that will never be answered here and it’s a real cause for concern. We have seen the damage that Biden has done to this country in just two short weeks with over 40 executive orders, can you imagine the damage he could do in four years with his Chinese connections?
While Burns served at Carnegie Zhang Yichen, a businessman join the think tank’s board of trustees.
“We are very fortunate to have Zhang Yichen on our board,” Burn said in a statement in October 2016. “I look forward to working with him to make Carnegie an even finer institution.”
And down the rabbit hole, we go.
CEO of CITIC Consulting, a China-based investment firm, Zhang donated between $500 thousand to over $999 thousand to Carnegie between July of 2017 and the end of June 2018. According to Carnegie’s annual report for fiscal year 2020, Zhang gave between $250,000 and roughly $550,000 in 2020.
Sounding just like the spider web of Chinese business connections in the Biden family, Zhang is a member of two organizations with ties to the Communist Chinese Party; the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the Center for China and Globalization. This information comes from his own biography.
It just so happens that CPPCC is an advisory group for the Communist Chinese Party and is affiliated with China’s united front system, a program that promotes Communist Chinese Party initiatives overseas.
Zhang serves as a senior vice chairman of The Center for China and Globalization, which is a Beijing-based think tank that also has ties to the Communist Chinese Party.
From Zhang’s donations to Carnegie they were able to fund the Beijing-based Carnegie-Tsinghua Center in 2010 to form a partnership with Tsinghua University, one of China’s top technological universities.
Zhang provided support funds for operations at Carnegie-Tsinghua Center, according to a spokesperson at Carnegie.
“His funding does not underwrite research projects or support work in the United States,” the spokesperson told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
In May 2018, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), the vice-chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, made known his concerns that resident of the Center for China and Globalization, Wang Huiyao, spoke at an event that was hosted by the Wilson Center, another US think tank. How many think tanks do Marxists need for goodness’ sake?
The senator from Florida mentioned Wang’s involvement with the United Front Work Department and pointed out that Work Department, which he said is one of the communist regime’s “magic weapons.”
And the list of sketchy ties and connections to the Communist Chinese Party goes on and on ad nauseam. It denies belief in a Benevolent Being that Joe Biden would pick this man to head up the country’s top intelligence agency and it will be very interesting to see if anyone in the Senate questions his ties to the Communist Chinese Party and the many Chinese businesses that are all fronts with ties to the Chinese government.
