Chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Pleads For Biden To Raise the Refugee Admissions Cap For This Year To Over 125,000

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Chair Representative Raul Ruiz (D-CA) is urging President Joe Biden to raise the cap for refugee admissions for the 2022 fiscal year based on Democrats never letting a good crisis to go to waste. The crisis? The humanitarian crisis caused by Russia‘s invasion of Ukraine. Leave it to a Democrat to exploit the people’s suffering to gain political power.

“Russia’s unprovoked attack on Ukraine has created an escalating humanitarian crisis. The United States must respond by opening its arms to those seeking safety and security. I ask that you issue an Emergency Presidential Determination raising refugee admissions for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2022, expedite family reunification of Ukrainians in the United States, and do everything possible to rebuild the U.S. Refugee Admission Program,” Ruiz said in a letter to Biden.

EVERYTHING is an “emergency” with leftists. Using the term “emergency” lets them throw out the rules that are limitations of the government’s power. And then they never want to declare that the emergency is over because they don’t want to give up the powers they gained from it. Think COVID emergency powers that enabled Democrats to do horrible things to American citizens.

The cap on refugees for 2022, the fiscal year ending in September, is set to 125,000.

How much do you want to bet that this has really nothing to do with Ukrainian refugees but to get the number increased to allow third world Hispanic people coming from countries south of our border to claim refugee status? Either that, or the Democrats don’t want to get nailed for reaching the 125,000 limit with mostly people who are not refugees in the legal sense of the term.

The Ukrainian people have been defending themselves and their country against a Russian military invasion that was brought through what still appears to be over nothing the people of Ukraine did. That’s still a head scratcher, and since the propaganda that comes from both sides in any war, along with the fact that our misinformation news media lies so much it is akin to propaganda, and the Biden administration lies so badly they could all be reporters, we don’t know what to believe. All we know is a lot of people are fleeing the country and the Democrats want to take advantage of that so that these refugees can register as voting Democrats once they’re here.

“While the headlines are currently focused the war in Ukraine, our country should strengthen its commitment to provide refuge to all people fleeing violence and oppression,” the letter said.

“The CHC firmly believes that whether someone is fleeing for their life from a Russian dictator or a drug cartel, the United States should provide the safety and security that refugees need. Our commitment cannot end at this crisis, but instead we must embrace our international commitments and our responsibilities to the vulnerable. Our country cannot only protect one group; we must protect everyone seeking freedom,” the letter stated.

Why do we have to bring them here to the United States? Is Poland not good enough for them? There are no European countries the refugees can go for help? The United States is the only country in the world who can take them in? I find that really difficult to swallow.

I would be for it if the Biden administration would shut down our southern border. The administration has already allowed over 2 million illegal aliens to come into the country and the American middle-class taxpayers now owe them a living. Then they brought in the thousands of Afghanistan refugees, most of who never worked for the United States government. Stop the flood of third world aliens coming into our country and maybe we can talk about bringing real refugees in.
