Chicago Hospital Stops COVID-19 Vaccinations After Multiple Staff Members Received Allergic Reactions

A hospital in Chicago suddenly stopped giving out the coronavirus vaccine to hospital staff when four employees came down with bad reactions after receiving it, according to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

On Thursday, after administering the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, four staff members “experienced tingling and elevated heart rate shortly after the injection,” as reported by WMAQ-TV.

In response to their symptoms medially stopped administering the vaccine to people.

“Out of an abundance of caution, we are temporarily pausing vaccinations at Condell, which will allow us time to better understand what may have caused these reactions,” the hospital said in a statement.

There goes that term again, “out of an abundance of caution.”

I don’t know why people are so shocked over this.  No vaccine is 100% foolproof, which is why smart governments remove liability from vaccine makers, otherwise they would never make the vaccines and the overwhelming majority of people who have no adverse reactions to the vaccines would not be able to get the vaccines.

Advocate Aurora Health forewarned that reactions to the vaccine aren’t part of a larger problem, emphasizing the fact that they have already administered thousands of doses of the vaccine with only seeing the four reactions.  The point here is that not all human beings are alike, in fact we are all different with different reactions to things that we put in our bodies.

“These four team members represent fewer than 0.15% of the approximately 6,000 who have so far received vaccinations across Advocate Aurora Health. At this time, we can share three team members are home and doing well, and one is receiving additional treatment,” the hospital revealed.

They have since announced they will begin giving doses of the vaccine again.

The medical system on Saturday said they would resume giving vaccinations by Sunday, saying that they have made the necessary adjustments to post-vaccine administration observation times.  In other words, they increased the amount of time they watch you after you get your dose.

“Our site vaccination teams remain prepared to respond quickly and appropriately should anyone experience any kind of reaction,” a statement said. “Out of an abundance of caution, we have increased our post-vaccine evaluation period to 30 minutes for all individuals across all our sites, which exceeds CDC/ACIP recommendations.”

On Friday, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said they will investigate the adverse reactions to the vaccine.

Polyethylene glycol may be the offender in this case,.  Dr. Peter Marks, who is the Director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research said during the press conference that scientists don’t yet fully know what is responsible for the allergic reactions to the vaccine.

Polyethylene glycol is found in both the Pfizer and the Moderna vaccines.

Health experts are claiming that these four allergic reactions don’t necessarily mean that the vaccine is not safe for Americans with allergies, just those who already have a history of being allergic to vaccines, or who are allergic to any of the ingredients that are in them, and they should hold off getting the vaccine.

How exactly are people supposed to know what the ingredients are inside these vaccines to see if they are allergic to them? And if they are allergic to one or more of the ingredients inside the vaccine, like Polyethylene glycol, then how are they supposed to know that?

Do the pharmaceutical companies making these vaccines provide a public list of all the ingredients?  What happens if we find ingredients in these things that are not healthy for human beings?    After all, the FDA in the past has allowed over 120 chemical substances to be added to cigarettes.  What’s to stop them from adding carcinogenic things to a coronavirus vaccine?  And if the rumors are true that the government is using this vaccine for some nefarious reasons are we going to be forced to take it, even though there may be dangerous things in the list of ingredients?

I have tested positive for everything my allergist tested on me.  Yay me, right?  There is no way I am taking this vaccine until at least every allergic reaction has been explained and remedied, or by the other end of a gun.

With my luck, this would be me.
