On CNN’s CNN Tonight, host Don Lemon lost whatever was left of his mind this week during a segment with actor Terry Crews over ‘Black Lives Matter,’ (BLM) saying the group is only about “police brutality” and has nothing to do with inner city violence or gun crime.
Lemon basically admitted the only purpose of BLM is police brutality and was visibly angry at Crews’ insistence that there is more to be addressed on the subject of the wellbeing of black lives.
Americans aren’t stupid. We know that the name “Black Lives Matter” is treated by the extra-chromosome Marxists inside the movement as just a moniker, and they don’t take the three words as a phrase that means all black people’s matter. This is why it was really disturbing to hear Don Lemon try to chastise Terry Crews, a man who is indisputably one of the nicest, most decent guys to come out of Hollywood.
Lemon’s argument was irrational, saying that the BLM movement is only about police brutality, and he became overly obnoxious with the actor when Crews responded to that message by pointing out that the BLM website talks about many things other than police brutality.
In fact, if you go to their website and click on About, then “What We Believe“, you will taken to a page that explains exactly what the group stands for, and the words police brutality don’t even appear on the page.
Here’s what does appear on the page:
“We are guided by the fact that all Black lives matter, regardless of actual or perceived sexual identity, gender identity, gender expression, economic status, ability, disability, religious beliefs or disbeliefs, immigration status, or location.
We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead.
We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence.
We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered.”
Last month Crews tweeted “we must ensure #blacklivesmatter doesn’t morph into #blacklivesbetter.” Lemon was eager to take issue with Crews and address the backlash he received online.
“The Black Lives Matter movement was started because it was about police brutality” Lemon said. “If you want an All Black Lives Matter movement that talks about gun violence in…Black communities, then start that movement with that name. But that’s not what Black Lives Matter is about.”
Yeah, he really said it. But it got even worse.
Of course, Crews is making all the sense in the world for a civil society, and Don Lemon playing left-wing politics for the woke crowd. Lemon is a coward for not standing up to a Marxist movement that uses the cover of being against police brutality (like, who isn’t?) but they’re really pushing to destroy the American system, as we know it, and to replace it with a utopian heaven on earth. That doesn’t exist, and unlike Lemon, Crews is trying to deal in the real world.
“If someone started a movement that said Cancer Matters and then someone comes in and says, ‘why aren’t you talking about HIV’, it’s not the same thing,” the Fake News anchor concluded.
We apologize in advance for the loss of IQ points having to listen to Don Lemon’s nonsense. We watch CNN so that you don’t have to.
WATCH:
What a dope. That conversation would never happen, and Lemon knows it. What he is saying is that BLM only cares about black people who are victims of police brutality, even though, remember, their website says, “We are guided by the fact that all Black lives matter…” and that includes black people who are victims of crime, including black on black crime and that includes black people with cancer and black people with HIV, and you get the point.
Don Lemon is not a news person. He is a leftist ideological tool, and he’s an activist for left pretending to be a news anchor, who uses his CNN show as a bullhorn for Marxist propaganda.
Crews tried to get his message through saying, “black people need to hold other Black people accountable.” He added “I don’t want to move from one oppressor to the next,” but Lemon the ideologue wasn’t having it. He kept talking over the actor every time Crews was making an important point.
“Who’s the next oppressor,” Lemon shot back sticking to his nonsensical belief that police brutality is the only danger that inflicts black people’s lives.
