One lesson you can take from this story is socialism is always for the people and not the socialist.
As is the case with most socialists, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) (AOC) doesn’t play by the rules she sets for you and me. According to sources in the know, the socialist congresswoman’s white Tesla was parked illegally outside a Whole Foods Market which is close to her luxury apartment complex in Washington, DC. Her apartment complex, one of the fanciest in the DC area, rents out studios that run over $2,000 a month. For that, she can enjoy several pools, racquetball courts, a climbing wall, a steam room, a golf simulator, numerous cycling studios, massage rooms, charging ports for her Tesla, and more. AOC believes the amenities she enjoys should be a human right available to everyone. A golf simulator is a human right? God save us.
AOC has said many times that she is a democrat socialist, which is no different from any of the other flavors of socialism. The reality is a collectivist system where redistribution of wealth is a common thing where the socialist government takes from your paycheck that you worked very hard to earn and gives much of it to people you don’t know and who did not earn it. Lincoln referred to it as “You work and toil and earn bread, and I’ll eat it.” Sorry, he was talking about slavery. So, what’s the difference?
The Washington Free Beacon reached out to AOC’s office to find out if the illegally parked white Tesla really belongs to her, and they never got a response. And they shouldn’t hold their breath.
In October 2020, AOC told Vanity Fair that she “just got a car.” About four months later, in February 2021, she explained that she decided to get a car because of COVID, and she said she got an electric car so that she could silence her so-called haters. She also said she feels “very lucky that I have not gotten a parking ticket,” which reveals that she’s perfectly willing to break the rules for her own convenience. That’s another trait of all socialists.
“I usually travel by train, but due to COVID I now drive by car, I travel by car,” AOC said on Instagram Live. “Not a combustion engine vehicle, but I travel by car between New York and DC.”
According to the website tiremeetsroad.com, AOC more than likely drives a Tesla Model 3 Long Range. The way they came up with that is that model seems to be the only one capable of making the trip from NY City to Washington, DC on a single charge. AOC’s car is comparatively between $48,000 and $60,000. Not bad for a democratic socialist.
Sources have said that they have seen a dingbat driving around in a white Tesla and a member of Congress reported seeing her drive the car into a House parking lot on Capitol Hill.
Apparently, the Whole Foods where she like to park illegally is within walking distance to her apartment building.
So, AOC lives in a luxury apartment building, she drives a Tesla, and she shops at what everyone knows is an expensive supermarket owned by Amazon. Does this mean she has to turn in her democratic socialist card? Not on your life, because as I said, socialism is for the people and never for the socialist.
Apparently, the Navy Yard Whole Foods offers free parking for its elite customers, so there’s no need for AOC to park illegally and yet she has.
Dan Riffle, AOC’s policy advisor, wants to wipe out billionaires, yet the congresswoman seems to enjoy the items that those one-percenters provide her thanks to their capitalistic brilliance. What AOC and other goofy self-avowed socialists in Congress don’t understand when they go off on the evils of billionaires is that those are the people who support the very lifestyle of the nitwits who are complaining about them.
Elon Musk, for example, took a gamble by investing his own money and taking out loans, and fighting for grants to build an electric car. AOC had nothing to do with it. She probably doesn’t own any Tesla stock. And yet, thanks to the ingenuity of Musk and his risk-taking to make the product, AOC has a Tesla to drive around. AOC didn’t build that car. Bernie Sanders, another avowed democratic socialist didn’t use any of his millions to build it.
VIDEO OF THE DAYFacebook Finally Loses
From the cars you drive to the gasoline you put into them or the charging stations you use to charge up your expensive Tesla, from the clothes you wear to the food you eat and the mobile devices you use to rant and rave against billionaires, some one-percenter made it possible for you to be able to afford all of those things that make up your lifestyle. It’s called capitalism, and that stuff you love so much doesn’t get made under democratic socialism.
