Elected Democrats are now taking to social media to attack Hispanic-owned food maker Goya, after the CEO said things to praise President Donald Trump.
During a speech in the White House Rose Garden following a round table for Hispanic businesses and leaders on Thursday, Goya CEO Robert Unanue said, “We’re all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump, who is a builder.”
He added, “We have an incredible builder. And we pray. We pray for our leadership, our president, and we pray for our country — that we will continue to prosper and grow.”
Can’t you just feel the hatred dripping off of his words?
NPR reported that “Unanue, a third-generation Spanish American, enraged many with his remarks, including some high-profile Democrats, who also signaled that they would no longer support Goya’s products.”
Now when I need any products Goya sells, I’m going to exclusively buy them at the supermarket. And you should too.
Socialist bubblehead Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) (AOC) declared on Twitter, “Oh look, it’s the sound of me Googling ‘how to make your own Adobo.”
AOC has a history of attacking businesses for no good reason other than “they’re not woke.” She comes across as this cute young, confused woman who is caught up in the progressive movement. Wrong. AOC is as evil as Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. Worse in some respects. For example, AOC was largely responsible for about 25,000 or more jobs New Yorkers were supposed to get when her progressive attacks on the online company caused Amazon.com to cancel the new headquarters they were planning to build in NYC. The Fake News praised her actions, even though it would have meant a lot to New York workers looking for a job.
Now, this elected member of Congress is attacking a Hispanic food company that has done nothing wrong. Goya helps a lot of people. Go to their Our Company page and read how many things they’ve donated to people in need, and other programs that help people.
On the same day, AOC lectured conservatives about “cancel culture,” which was invented by liberals on Twitter. That’s where thousands of triggered leftists target a celebrity or company that says or does something that offended leftists who are easily offended by pretty much anything. The goal is to get them fired or shut down. It’s not enough to disagree with the mob anymore. Now they go after your livelihood.
The term “cancel culture” comes from entitlement – as though the person complaining has the right to a large, captive audience,& one is a victim if people choose to tune them out.
Odds are you’re not actually cancelled, you’re just being challenged, held accountable, or unliked.

Failed Democratic presidential candidate Julian Castro joined the Twitter mob.
“@GoyaFoods has been a staple of so many Latino households for generations. Now their CEO, Bob Unanue, is praising a president who villainizes and maliciously attacks Latinos for political gain. Americans should think twice before buying their products. #Goyaway”

Is this not incredible? Elected officials are trashing a company because the CEO said something nice about the president of the United States.
An immigrant youth group “United We Dream” put out a statement saying, “We don’t support companies who endorse and comply with a White Supremacist regime. Under capitalism, know the power of the dollar in their eyes. We’re using it to make a statement. Pledge your commitment to boycotting Goya Foods today.”

That night, “Goya” was the top trending term on the social media giant, along with the hashtags #BoycottGoya and #Goyaway.
Goya Foods was founded by Spanish immigrants Don and Carolina Prudencio Unanue in 1936. Goya is the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States.
The current CEO reiterated his praise for Trump on Fox & Friends.

As we hear from Democrats and leftists that Donald Trump and his supporters are the ones who are dividing the country, just remember how the Left treats companies who support a president who is Making America Great Again.
