On Sunday, the father of a black teen murdered by an illegal alien back in 2008 told “Fox & Friends” that due to the fact that his son’s case was not a matter of police brutality, he received no help from any black advocacy groups and had to mourn on the sidelines by himself.
“It seems like Black Lives Matter only focuses on black people who were murdered by the police,” Jamiel Shaw said. “You know, my son was murdered in 2008, and I reached out to anybody that would listen, especially black people, because I thought for sure I would have a lot of support in the black community.
“But, because of the illegal aliens and the way they get all the support in California, no one would jump on board because they didn’t want to have to, you know, justify the illegal-alien part. So, they just let me go by myself.”
17-year-old Jamiel Shaw Jr., was shot in March 2008 by Pedro Espinoza, an illegal an alien and gang member, who mistook the high school football player as a member of a rival gang. A jury convicted Espinoza and he was given a death sentence.
After appealing to numerous groups and community leaders for help and repeatedly getting turned down, Shaw’s father began to speak out personally in opposition to California’s immigration policies, which he blamed for his son’s loss of life.
“All black people should matter,” Shaw said, alleging a double-standard among the movement at the forefront of the national protests over George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis police custody last month.
When my Son was Murdered I reached out to every so called Black leader in L.A. to get help with the Murder of my son. Every one of them was in the bed with the illegal aliens. BLM and Black Politicians in L.A. only support Black people who were Murdered by the Police, Period

Jamiel ‘s father said being killed by police shouldn’t be “some kind of death lottery, like, ‘yeah, I won. I was murdered by the police, so we get something out of it.’ Everybody else just gets screwed and has to sit on the sidelines and pretend like, you know, they’re getting over it.”
Additionally Sunday, a former president of BLM Greater New York told Fox News that both parties were to blame for crimes against black people. “Black people do not trust politicians,” Hank Newsome, the BLM leader who just threatened to burn the country down and nobody is investigating him yet said. “They don’t trust Democrats. They don’t trust Republicans.”
That’s really odd, since Republicans aren’t responsible for all the horrible things Democrats have done to black people since the beginning of the Democratic Party. They are the party of slavery, Jim Crow, the Ku Klux Klan, lynchings, segregation and decades of progressive policies that have not only destroyed black communities, but black families as well.
In fact, the GOP has never changed its stance on civil rights since the day it formed as the abolitionist party. The difference today is Democrats pander to black voters, while taking their votes for granted and vilifying the opposition, while Republicans write legislation that includes all people, they just don’t pander. Democrats and progressives have convinced enough people over decades by conditioning that because of the lack of political pandering, Republicans don’t care about black people. In other words, the party that wants to treat black Americans as red-blooded Americans has been vilified by Democrats who are the ones who actually have a racist history.
Shaw characterized the BLM approach as: “If you’re killed by the police, it’s okay. We can tear down and burn down buildings, but if you’re murdered by an illegal alien, you have to be quiet.”
He additionally stated the BLM movement has alienated “everybody that has been murdered not by the police — and it’s not fair to our loved ones.”
His point is well taken. When is the last time you heard a Democrat complain about the out-of-control murder rate in Chicago, Baltimore, and other cities they have run for decades?
As of this writing, for the month of June there have been 79 people shot and killed in Chicago. Where’s the outrage for that? I guarantee if any one of those 79 victims of gun violence in Chicago happened to be shot by a cop, riots would break out and the destruction of the city would ensue. People would travel from around the country to join the protests, riots, and looting. But, sans a cop shooting, we hear crickets.
“It’s not fair when I watch on TV. The only reason they care is that they’re killed by the police, and then they get to tear down the city, burn up everything, loot everything, and nobody’s going to jail,” he argued. “I’m like, ‘man, this is unfair, you know? I’m black, where’s our help?'”
Mr. Shaw was invited to speak at the Republican national convention in 2016 where he thanked Donald Trump for allowing him to tell his story.
