One of the biggest things I love about Donald Trump is that unlike the majority of wussies in the Republican Party Trump doesn’t back down when someone attacks him, in fact, he hits back twice as hard. And such is the case with the phony Democrat Senate impeachment trial that’s coming up this week.
The former president’s lead impeachment defense attorney Bruce Castor said he is going to use video clips of top Democrats inciting violence with their speech during the coming impeachment trial. It should be a great contrast of listening to Democrats actually threatening their opponents by sicking their supporters on them through cleverly worded phrases and speeches to Trump’s call for peacefully in patriotically marching on the capital to let people’s voices be heard.
The defense team will stick to the strategy that was outlined in the brief they submitted to the Senate on Tuesday, Castor said.
The defense team reminded the Senate that the Constitution “requires that a person actually hold office to be impeached” and that Trump was exercising his First Amendment right of Free Speech to question the results of the November election. I would add with all of its irregularities.
The Senate does not have jurisdiction over Donald Trump and cannot try him for impeachment because he doesn’t hold office, he left the White House on January 20 at about 8:30 in the morning. Trump’s lawyers argued that this impeachment trial goes against the US constitution. I don’t think the Democrats give a damn.
Castor declared that the defense team will play some video of top Democrats who encouraged violence to their Democrat supporters over the four years Trump was in the White House during the impeachment trial which was scheduled to start on Monday.
“I think you can count on that,” Castor told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham. “If my eyes look a little red to the viewers, it’s because I have been looking at a lot of videos the last couple of days.”

Remember when Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) told her supporters using a bullhorn:
“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up, and if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere…. Mr. President, we will see you every day, every hour of the day, everywhere that we are, to let you know you can’t get away with this.”
Remember when Senator Cory Booker (D-NY) said to a group of DC visitors:
“Before I end, that’s my call to action here. Please don’t just come here today and then go home,” Booker said. “Go to the Hill today. Get up and please get up in the face of some congresspeople.”
Castor recognized that some Democrats across the nation celebrated when the rioters were burning down businesses in Democrat-run cities and when they attacked federal law enforcement officers and tried to burn down a federal courthouse, and actually did burn down a police station over the summer in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd. The president tried to help the Democrat mayors of cities to quell the riots by sending federal agents in who he declared could have cleaned the mess up within an hour but they all refused his help. Not only did they refuse federal help but they went on rants to score political points with their constituents claiming that trump was destroying democracy and he was violating the constitution by simply asking them if they needed help to stop the looting and burning down of businesses and attacking innocent people in their cities.
“Many of them [Democrats] in Washington using really the most inflammatory rhetoric as possible to use,” he said. “But here when you have the president of the United States give a speech and says ‘you should peacefully make your thinking known to the people in Congress,’ he all of a sudden the villain. So you better be careful what you wish for.”
During his January 6 speech at a rally he held before a march on the Capitol, something Democrats do all the time, which later became the focus of the Democrats’ impeachment against him, Trump told his supporters: “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.” Wow! Such incitement. [Yawn]
It’s unclear which hateful Democrats’ remarks will be used during the impeachment trial, so you’ll just have to tune in.
