Jacob Blake made his first statement since being shot seven times in the back by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin,  describing his constant pain and he urged people to be appreciative of how precious life is.

“I just want to say, man, a lot of young cats out there and even the older ones, older than me, it’s a lot more life to live out here, man,” Blake said from his hospital bed in a video tweeted by his family’s attorney Ben Crump, a nationally known civil rights advocate.

“Your life, and not only just your life, your legs, something you need to move around and forward in life, can be taken from you like this,” he said as he snapped his fingers.

Blake let people know that he’s constantly in pain from the injuries he sustained that his doctors say will leave him paralyzed from the waist down.

“And I promise you the type of s–t you go through, staples, I got staples in my back, staples in my damn stomach, you do not want to deal with this s–t, man.

“Twenty-four hours, every 24 hours it’s pain, nothing but pain,” he added.

“It hurts to breathe, it hurts to sleep, it hurts to move from side-to-side, it hurts to eat,” Blake went on. “Please, I’m telling you, change your lives.

“Stick together, make some money, make everything easier for our people out there, man, because there’s so much time that’s been wasted.”

Jacob sounds a lot more reasonable than his father, Jacob Blake Sr, a Louis FarraKLAN follower who has a racist history against white people and Jewish people.  The father said Friday that his “happy-go-lucky” son is optimistic about his future. Speaking by video chat from a Milwaukee hotel, Blake Sr told The Associated Press that the past two weeks for him have been “surreal” and “like a dream” and he’s just mentally worn out.  Sr said he’s been receiving death threats, and that he couldn’t talk about them in detail, which is an indication that police are investigating.

Jacob Blake Sr

Officer Rusten Sheskey shot Blake after he resisted arrest during a called to police that was made on August 23rd.

Federal prosecutors are running a civil rights investigation into the incident.  A video produced of the incident was clear as day.  Blake was seen on camera resisting arrest when officers tried to take him into custody, he broke free and began walking around his SUV to the driver’s side door as Officer Sheskey followed him from behind with his gun drawn, opening fire as Blake reached inside for something.

Blake later admitted that he had a knife on the floorboard of the driver’s side of the vehicle.

The shooting sparked outrage and a new wave protests across a country already marching for justice for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and others.

On Friday, Jacob Blake appeared via video feed for Kenosha County court.  He Plead not guilty to three charges of 3rd-degree sexual assault, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct, after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing.

A $10,000 bond was issued for Blake during the court appearance. The court also ordered him not to go to the victim’s house, not to have a weapon, and he can only leave Wisconsin for medical treatment if necessary. Jury selection begins November 9th.

All three police officers who were on the call have been placed on administrative leave while an investigation is conducted by the Wisconsin Department of Justice.

According to the state agency, the cops were called to the house because a woman reported her boyfriend was there and he wasn’t supposed to be on the premises.  Blake was forbidden from going to the Woman’s Kenosha house as she was an alleged victim from a May 3 incident.  The officers had been aware there was an open warrant for Blake, according to dispatch records.

One thing that keeps getting misreported is that the car was not His. It belonged to his victim and he had taken her keys. That is the reason she called 911 in the first place If he had gotten into the car and drove away you could add grand theft auto to the charges against him. Let’s get the full story out there people. She said, “He does not own a car,” in her statement to police after he assaulted her earlier this year.

Where are you getting that information? His 3 son’s were in the car right? Did all 4 of them walk there – take her keys and then get in her car?

Dude are you for real? If she was in the car with her kids how hard would it be for him to grab her keys out of the ignition? Don’t be so narrow minded.

I’m wondering why in the first video and pictures I saw he had a curved knife in his left hand as he walked around front of car to get in driver door. Later I saw pics and video and you couldn’t see the knife but it was same video. One was obviously edited, I’m just wondering which one. Anybody else see the video that came out the first day showing the knife in hand? Either way though he was fighting cops and tazer didnt stop him. He brought it on himself, cops need to orotect themselves too.

Have you considered that the children were put in the car after he took the keys, or they were in the car already when he arrived?

Why can’t people wait for the whole story before jumping to conclusions and creating false narratives! If your not following instructions being given by authorities – you are a danger to everyone around you and police have to respond, if situation is escalated by actor what the hell do you think is going to happen? Of course no interaction with a cop should end in a death. So, why do you gamble with an escalation – you know why! Thugs come in all shades from ebony to ivory and as long as good people see you as victim you get away with causing and benefiting from destruction in our neighborhoods….period!

Very well said. Comply with orders, if you feel there was a problem with the arrest, that is what attorneys and the courts are for.

I just want to say one thing. If a reporter tweet people and let them know exactly what time they going to be there. And then there is a mob waiting there like the Black lives matter. And Tails them you know what to do. There’s somebody gets killed or they burn something down or break into businesses. I think the people who tweets is should be held accountable two. It’s just like them handing the gun and the gasoline to them. These reporters don’t care who dies or what buildings get burned down. they know who does it they will be the one responsible for It. And I know it won’t be them. So charge the reporters that tweet to the people and let them be charged to for the same crimes. And if they will start bringing charges to these reporters just maybe the violence might slow down. Just a thought.

Obviously, by your bad grammar it’s a good thing that your opinion doesn’t matter. This is America and you can’t charge anyone with a crime because of how someone else reacts to what you write and two is a number and doesn’t mean also. That would be too.

Just a thought but possible bad grammar because English language isn’t their first one. If this is the case, then koodos to them. They didn’t do to bad. Not asking for an argument, just saying before we throw insults around that have nothing to do with the topic maybe we could consider that. I know I have done this myself. I think lots of people have.

He was at a home that had a restraining order against him for rape, he was a felon with a weapon, he took the victims keys, he fought and resisted. The rape case was pending so he was also intimidating a witness. He was a felon and was in the process of breaking many more laws when this happened.

It took for him to loose his legs to see the light. His victims, his ex and their children are the real victims. He beat his ex in front of their kids, broke into her apartment and raped her, she was the one who called Police. He caused himself to wind up where he is, although I think seven shots in the back was excessive. One shot in each leg would have rendered him helpless, not the spine. Then again, legs are a hard target.

While you sound intelligent, you have no knowledge whatsoever about firearms. They don’t have a choice about what gets hit. They aim for the center of mass and fire until the threat is stopped. Google it and quit spreading disinformation. A cop couldn’t just shoot a leg on a guy if he wanted to. Have you ever fired a weapon yourself?

Blake got what he brought upon himself. Maybe now after becoming a cripple he will learn a lesson. Bad decisions that you make can have a permanent impact in your life. Good thing he paid for his mistakes instead of someone innocent. Others should learn from Blakes Mistake and stop being savages.

This guy was just plain stupid! His father is a lunatic!! He sees dollar signs and I seriously hope Jr or Sr don’t get a dime but Ben Crump has no scruples and if he didn’t smell money, he wouldn’t be involved. He knows that this man is a criminal! The only victim in this situation is the woman he had beaten previous to his thumbing his nose at police doing their job. They had to arrest him because he violated a court order. The moment he turned and began walking away he was resisting arrest. JR and SR are very base intellect, that is obvious but Jr has a history with the criminal justice system that even though he can hardly form a sentence, he should have known better. Race had no factor in this situation what so ever! Disrespect for women and the law seems to be a real problem with this thug. Sr needs to look in the mirror if he wants someone to blame for the mess his son is in.

Wonder about the emotional pain his rape victim lives with 24/7. Wonder how her child felt sleeping next to mommy when he was raping her. Wonder if the child was in bed with mommy the other times he raped her. That kind of pain compounded by everyone’s concern, care and now canonization of her disgusting predator. I have difficulty feeling sorry for him.

This is a highly inflammatory situation. There are a great number of unanswered questions. The videos and other evidence haven’t be presented in court under oath. The forensic results haven’t been revealed as yet. So all of the rhetoric, in this case, is merely supposition and conjecture. What too much information is unknown at this time. All of the violence and chaos attributed to this case is at this time groundless, it is simply a case of people already aroused by other events that are just assuming that this case is cause for more violence.
