Joy Pullmann, executive editor of The Federalist, appeared on The Blaze’s “Stu Does America” show to discuss her column where she equates “wokeness” with mental illness. Joy explains to Stu Burguiere her theory that there is a lot more to being “woke” than people think.
I like to point out that all leftwing socialist movements throughout history believed they had a supremacy of sorts over their populations because they thought their ideas were superior to everyone else’s, and they focused their supremacy’s energy around what they always thought of as their “one,” or the one person or thing that binds the supremacists all together because it captures the essence of the supremacy’s movement. Leftist movements like the Nazis, the Soviet’s Stalin, China’s Mao, Cuba’s Castro and others all had their own “one.”
For the Nazis, the “one” was the Aryan. They believed the German people would perfect society by having an army of an Aryan race of people with purity in their genes. The superior human being. Anyone who did not accept the idea of an Aryan race was punished by the supremacy in various ways.
The Soviets made their “one” the worker. Flags and banners displaying the hammer and sickle represented the Soviet Union’s hard workers that will help the Rodina (Homeland) outpace workers everywhere. They called the motherland a “Worker’s Paradise.”
The Progressives in America right now have a supremacy, and their “one” is the woke. It’s why I always talk about the Woke Supremacy, which is a supremacy of woke leftists who champ at the bit to enforce cancel culture on anyone who does not adhere to the rules of the supremacy. They want to destroy people’s lives for having the audacity to go against the grain.
The thing about the woke supremacy is not only do they attack people outside the supremacy who dare say something that goes against the current acceptable narratives, they will eat their own no matter how long the person has been a member of the supremacy and without regard to what level in the hierarchy they achieved, if they have the gall to disagree with an issue that the high priests of the Woke Supremacy have deemed a holy sacrament.
J. K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter book series (I am a fan), learned that the hard way. Rowling was a progressive in good standing on her social media accounts, trashing people outside the supremacy (conservatives) and virtue-signaling anyone who disagreed with her and the movement. That all ended the day she made some comments about the transgender movement. She was swiftly canceled. Rowling, who reached the pinnacle of the supremacy hierarchy on social media and elsewhere, disagreed with the supremacy only one time and she was kicked out and ostracized. I don’t know if they ever let her back in or why she would ever want to go back to that. It must be exhausting to be a member of the supremacy. You spend your day trying to come up with ways to prove to your fellow woke brethren that you are more woke than everyone else in the supremacy, and you have to make sure you don’t go too far, lest you get canceled by a frumpy twenty-year-old pink-haired transgender with a small hairbrush pierced through her nose who didn’t like what you said about people who have wrist tattoos.
Anyone who studies the political ecosystem of the Woke Supremacy concludes that it is made up of a polluted lake of angry mental patients hanging out in social media pods like a boring carp waiting around to pounce on an unsuspecting creature who ventured somewhere they were forbidden to go.
According to Pullmann, wokeness and mental illness are not easy topics for a lot of people to talk about because they don’t want to criticize or demonize someone’s political ideology with a stigma of mental illness. That’s crazy! She goes on to explain how a person who believes a false and dangerous idea that hurts them and other people very often have people in their lives who enable them by going along with and acting like they also accept the false belief as a truth that becomes the person’s reality rather than being a real friend who tells them what they really think. Think of transgender people who suffer from the mental disorder gender diaspora being enabled by those around them who act like they agree that a man who puts on a dress and identifies as a woman is now a woman. Everyone around them knows he is still a biological male, and rather than point at them, shake their head, and tell them they should seek medical help, they take the coward’s way out and act like it’s perfectly normal to let a man in a dress use a lady’s public bathroom.
“Mental illness is at its core a disconnection from reality,” Pullmann said. She went on to say that mental illness has many parallels with leftism, that she defines as an ideology in part that declares a “war on reality” and a “war on nature.”
Stu closed the interview by reading a line from Joy’s story: “Wokeness is about creating a nationwide mental hospital of forever patients who never get better.”
