Kamala Harris let her inner Marxist out just two days before the presidential election by tweeting one of the dumbest videos ever presented by a vice presidential candidate.
Vice Presidential candidate Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) made her final pitch for fundamentally changing the country into a socialist utopia two days before the presidential election, where she posted a video explaining the differences between “equality” and “equity” and concluding that “equitable treatment means we all end up at the same place.” What a dope. Even school children understand that if you give everyone an A on a report, including the students who didn’t do it, there’s nothing equitable about the outcome of the children’s education.
“So there’s a big difference between equality and equity,” Harris said in a video she tweeted on Sunday. The video features an illustration of two individuals about to climb a mountain. Each was given two ropes, which a white man used to begin climbing. The other man, who appeared to be black, was unable to reach the rope, as he stood several feet lower than the other man.
“Equality suggests ‘Oh everyone should get the same amount.’ The problem with that, not everybody’s starting out from the same place. So if we’re all getting the same amount, but you started out back there and I started out over here — we could get the same amount, but you’re still going to be that far back behind me,” the narration continued.
“It’s about giving people the resources and the support they need so that everyone can be on equal footing and then compete on equal footing,” she continued. The video went on to show a fruitful ground raising the man up to the original level of the white man, where he then grabbed the rope and was able to climb up on his own. That’s affirmative action, and we did it for decades.
“Equitable treatment means we all end up at the same place,” she concluded:
Wow, just wow. Harris threw the race card into the mix without ever explaining how there are any laws on the books that keep black Americans from being the best they can be in America.
Harris’ racist analogy drew backlash from several social media users.
Mark Dice pointed out a reality that many wouldn’t get.
“Why is she talking like she grew up in the ghetto? hahaha. This is a new low in Democrat pandering.”
“Equity through government force inevitably puts one group at a disadvantage to another to social engineer outcomes. That’s not fair or equitable,” another user tweeted.
“Kamala just came out of the closet as a Commie. Equal outcome vs equal opportunity. Equal outcomes is a communist Utopian fantasy”
This libertarian gets it.
“One is about being equal, the other one is about wanting special privileges.”
Progressive Marxists aren’t asking for “equal” right or equal opportunity. They are demanding special rights, and there’s a huge difference.
“The Dems are finally open about their admiration of the most repressive system of organizing society.”
“It’s the same false promise the left has been promoting for years. Dems want equality of outcomes. Republicans want equality of opportunity.”
“Why would a vice presidential candidate seemingly endorse full-on Marxism days before a general election? Does she believe government should enforce equality of outcome for everyone? Seriously?”
GovTrack gave Harris a rating as the most leftist progressive senator in 2019, and she made headlines as a senator over her racial views, including her support for the disastrous Green New Deal and her initial support for Medicare-For-All. While she has backed away from those views since becoming Joe Biden’s running mate, she continued to carry them out throughout the Democrat primary despite attempting to cast herself as a moderate. Remember the primaries when she called Biden a racist? The same primary where she didn’t get a single delegate, yet the speculation is she would become president within the first three months if Biden wins. God save us all.
On Friday, during a virtual discussion with the radical leftists that make up the “Squad,” self-avowed democratic socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) declared that electing Joe Biden is “not the end-all. It is the beginning” for their progressive vision of a utopian heaven on earth through government dictate:
“We’re not giving up on our agenda,” he said, adding that they will “organize our people to make sure that Biden becomes the most progressive president since FDR.”
